The Road To Intuition
By Patrick Fuego
Have you had that experience
when all of a sudden you just
had this huge hunch that
something is about to happen,
and to your surprise, that intuition was
eventually translated to reality?
When you feel strongly about
something without logical basis to
it, that’s called intuition. It comes in
three impressions: clairvoyance or “the
third eye”, sensing clearly and feeling
through listening.
Clairvoyance is when your eye
goes beyond what it can see. This is
when you know what is happening
somewhere. Sensing clearly is basically
what we refer to as “hunch” or “gut
feel.” This is the time when you are
overwhelmed with a feeling and you
can’t explain it and all you can say is “I
just know.”
They say only a number of people are
gifted with intuition. Why not let your
emotional and psychological state as
it is? First and foremost, intuition
promotes good communication. It
makes you more sensitive to the people
around you; it often keeps you from
hurting those you love because you are
intuitive enough to understand them.
Intuition also makes you far more
creative than ever.
Intuition means releasing more
creative juices for any means of
expression. Lastly, intuition has a
healing power. This healing power is
not in the physical sense, but in delving
deep into your soul to eradicate some
negative energy buried in it.
With that being said, are you ready to
develop your intuition? Here are some
ways to unlock this gift:
1. Hypnosis
Oh yes, get yourself hypnotized.
Hypnosis is not limited to watching
a pendulum move back and forth.
Perform self-hypnosis or you can
avail of hypnotic programs that can
strengthen your intuition.
2. Meditation
Meditating means finding peace in
yourself. If your mind and heart are
cluttered with too many baggage and
hurt, you wouldn’t be able to quiet
down that part of you that could
eventually initiate intuition. There
are so many ways to meditate: take
a yoga class, or just simply practice
some breathing that could bring you
straight to Zen.
3. Think positive!
A worry-free, fear-free state could do
so much to improve your intuitive
ability. By staying positive, you attract
good energy that would be able to
easily recognize imminent feelings
and events.
4. Just let go.
What does this mean? If you are on
the brink of making a huge decision,
let go of all the inhibitions and head
to a quiet place where you could find
out where the letting go has brought
you. Sometimes you just have to listen
to the voice within you, and that voice
wouldn’t come out unless you let go.
5. Never expect.
After letting go of the inhibitions and
all those things that stop you from
thinking and feeling clearly, never
expect for an answer right away. Never
expect that the “hunch” would fall on
your lap immediately.
6. Believe in your first impressions.
When you see someone for the first time
and think that he is a bit too arrogant for
your taste, chances are that impression
actually holds true. Most of the time, first
impressions are brought by intuition.
7. Stay happy!
See? All you need to be intuitive is to
stay happy! Happiness attracts immense
power and such power includes
intuition. In tapping your intuition,
your motivation must be happiness
and contentment. Given that premise,
intuition will fall to you easily.
Intuition is helpful, because sometimes
it leads you to something that cannot be
achieved otherwise. A lot of lives have
been saved by intuition alone. Decisions
are easier done if armed by this gift.
Develop intuition now and reap benefits
you have never imagined.
FEELS
For the past years, seaweeds
have been a popular food
additive in almost all parts
of the world. Seaweeds are
rich in vitamins A1, B1, B2, B6,
B12, C, E and K which can keep
the body healthy and strong
enough to fight many types of
diseases. Aside from having
loads of vitamins, seaweeds are
also know as good sources for
minerals such as potassium,
odium, magnesium, calcium,
phosphorus, manganese, iron and
zinc.
Since seaweeds have high vitamin
and mineral contents, researchers
found out those seaweeds are not
only good as food additive; they
are also potent ingredients for
beauty products. Studies show
that seaweed beauty products are
effective and safe to use in almost
all types of skin. In fact, seaweed
beauty products are considered
as one of the best in the cosmetic
industry today.
For the past years, many players
in the cosmetic industry came up
with different beauty products
using seaweeds are primary
ingredients.
Caring For Your Skin
Skin types vary from person
to person thus it is not safe to
assume that what works for
another person will also work for
you. Fortunately, there are now
different types of seaweed beauty
products for different types of
skin so you need not worry about
finding the right seaweed beauty
product for you.
Looking Beautiful,
Feeling Beautiful
By Crystal Adler
Before you actually use the beauty
product, you should test it first by
applying it on a small portion of your
skin.
Wait for a few hours for any signs
allergic reactions. If you notice any
itching or burning sensations on the
area where you applied the beauty
products, do not use these products.
On the other hand, you should be
careful about using seaweed beauty
products if you are suffering from
acne and other types of skin breaks.
To be safe, consult your dermatologist
before you apply seaweeds beauty
products on any affected area of your
skin.
Just make sure that you use the seaweed
beauty product accordingly to avoid any
untoward incidents.
If you are one of those people who are
prone to allergies, you should be extra
careful when using any types of beauty
products.

Finding The Courage To Express Your Feelings
By Mike Fox
Life is full of situations where it can
be difficult to say what we really
think but silence sometimes comes
at a high cost. I believe we’re all still
learning this more & more everyday in our
lives.
Read on to discover the major benefits of
speaking your mind and constructive ways
to get started:
Benefits of Expressing Your Emo -
tions
Lead a fuller life. Dare to take on difficult
issues. You’ll learn more about yourself,
your loved ones and the world around you.
Taking on more challenges will help you
discover your true potential.
Become more authentic. If you habitually
suppress your true feelings, you may
become unfamiliar with them yourself.
Get to know the real you and accept
yourself for who you are.
Banish your fears. Fear and anxiety build
up when we try to shelter ourselves from
difficult truths rather than facing them
directly. When you see yourself successfully
negotiating a disagreement with your boss,
you’ll feel more confident in your abilities.
Improve your relationships. Clearing the
air promptly can keep resentments from
building up. Ask your spouse to share in
more of the housework rather than feeling
like a martyr.
Liberate others. Courage is contagious.
Your willingness to be direct and honest
makes it easier for others to do the same.
Techniques for Expressing Your
Emotions
• Clarify your intentions. Everyone
benefits when we devote ourselves to
promoting the common good. It beats
worrying about being comfortable or
universally popular.
• Consider the risks involved. There
may still be situations in which you
need to choose restraint. Maybe you
have valid concerns about an office
policy but know that your supervisor is
unlikely to be receptive to suggestions.
• Take accountability for your own
emotions. State your feelings in a
way that avoids putting the blame on
others. Recognize that your unpleasant
feelings have more to do with your
mindset rather than external events.
• Start out small. It’s okay to proceed
gradually. Talk with your best friend
about how her showing up late for
appointments affects you. Soon you’ll
be able to approach people who may
be less directly concerned with your
well being.
• Practice regularly. Like any skill,
open communications improve
the more you practice. Notice daily
opportunities to speak up so you’ll be
in shape when more difficult conflicts
come along.
• Remain tactful. Even when you need
to confront difficult truths, you can
pick a setting and language that will
make the message more palatable.
If tempers are already flaring, give
yourselves time to calm down and
speak privately. Try making requests
rather than demanding changes.
• Respect other’s boundaries. Just
because you’ve decided to become
more forthright, other people may
still have different priorities. Unless
someone’s welfare is in serious danger,
be sensitive to the topics they may
prefer to leave untouched.
• Listen intentionally. On the
other hand, you may find that
others welcome the opportunity
to be candid. Give people your
full attention. Show that you’re
attuned to their concerns. If you
feel overwhelmed by what you’re
hearing, ask for time to reflect before
continuing the discussion.
• Share good news too. Sometimes
we shy away from pleasant feelings
as well as the unpleasant ones. Get
in the habit of handing out more
compliments. Let people know how
their kind acts improve your life and
how much you care about them.
If you want to live life to the fullest, get in
touch with your true feelings and bring them
out into the open. You’ll enrich your own
experiences and empower those around you
to do the same.
ROAD TRIP TO HOUSTON

morning, which is perfect
for black and white
images.
The second picture is of
a winter morning alone
in the park, which Cayla
and Andres used to their
advantage. The Image was

Creative and impulsive
decisions are necessary in
photography and in life.

IMAGINATION
Creative Imagination
By Mike Fox
start mentally redesigning everything you
see. Imagine a better bicycle, a faster mail
service, or a better chair. Continue this for
three weeks, and it will become a habit.
Of course, creative imagination goes
beyond solving specific problems or
inventing things. Truly creative minds are
always coming up with the questions too,
not just the solutions. If you want to be
more creative all the time, focus on three
things:
Creative imagination is more than
just active imagination. To be
able to actively imagine things,
to see and hear things in one’s
mind, is an important ability. It doesn’t
have to involve much creativity, though,
does it? Daydreaming, for example, is a
process of imagination. It can consist of an
elaborate fantasy world, but one full of all
the things that many people think about.
Creative imagination, then, has to include
the ability not just to imagine things, but to
imagine original things. It is seei ng things
that others don’t see, and coming up with
new ideas. So how do you cultivate this into
something beautiful?
Creative Imagination 101
First, exercise your basic imagination. It can
be as simple as thinking in pictures more,
or listening to music in your mind. Play
little “movies” in your mind, until you can
watch them on command. This is a simple
process, but for those of us that can’t easily
do it naturally, it can take a lot of practice.
Fortunately, it is not an unpleasant activity.
The second part of developing your
creative imagination is to get more creative
in your thinking and imagining. Start
by paying attention to your creativity.
Our subconscious minds give us more of
what we pay attention to. Ignore creative
aspects of your life, and you’re telling your
subconscious they are unimportant. On
the other hand, if you note when you’re
creative, your subconscious mind will start
feeding you more creative ideas.
Different surroundings can also encourage
your creativity. Want more creativity in
your love life? Hike up a mountain with
your partner. Do you write? Try sitting on
a roof to write. Want new ideas for your
business? Take a notebook to the park
and sit by the duck pond. A change of
environment can get your thinking out of
it’s ruts.
You can play games that exercise your
creative imagination. One such game uses
a technique called “concept combination.”
Alone or with other players, you combine
random concepts or things in new ways, to
see who has the best idea.
Don’t Wait For Creative Imagination
Creative inspiration certainly can strike at
any time, but it strikes more often when
there is work instead of waiting. So if you
want to come up with creative inventions,
1. Changing your perspective. A child
might think that working just to not work
(to retire) is silly. Thinking from that
perspective might give you ideas for how
to make money doing things you enjoy.
Seeing the world as a bear sees it might give
a painter imaginative new ideas. Looking
at things from a customer’s perspective is
a sure way to find creative improvements
for a business. See everything from several
perspectives.
2. Challenging your assumptions. What
if restaurants didn’t have employees?
Visitors pay a machine as they enter, feed
themselves at a buffet, and everything is
as automated as possible, so one owneroperator
could run a large restaurant
alone. Challenge all your assumptions for
practice. Do you really have to pay rent? Do
swimming pools need water? Can exercise
be a bad thing?
3. Let your ideas run wild. Does a flying bed
seem silly? It could lead to the concept of a
helium mattress. When you get off it in the
morning, it floats out of the way, up to the
ceiling. Perfect for small apartments. Don’t
stifle your creativity. Relax, and let ideas
come. You can always discard them later.
For these techniques to be a habitual part
of your thinking, use them regularly.
Since it takes several weeks to develop a
habit, remind yourself to use them each
day. Jot a few of your favorite techniques
on a card and carry it with you. Look it
over throughout the day and apply the
techniques to anything. Soon, you’ll have a
more creative imagination.

Creating Possibility For Transformation
By Harry Henshaw
Transforming ones life is not about chang -
ing it. While life is much about doing
differently, the conclusion of the trans -
formation is about a person altering or
transforming belief or thought of who he thinks
he is. We tend to believe that our life is deter -
mined or influenced by people, places, things,
situations and circumstance and that who we are
is the mere accumulation of our past experiences
but this is not so. Rather, it is our thoughts and
beliefs that determine our experiences and life
and also that we are completely and solely responsible
for their creation. What we think and be -
lieve, especially about ourselves, determines our
emotions and behavior in the world and it is our
behavior that merely validates what we think and
believe about ourselves.
Given that much of our life is lived in pretense,
from the construct of ego, becoming present to
that which is hidden, to who we are being in life,
is absolutely necessary for transformation. It is in
that which is primarily hidden from us that one
will discover what is determining ones life, re -
ferred to here as ‘self-limiting belief’.
The first component of the transformational process
is for one to become present to the hidden
thoughts and beliefs that have been limiting him
in life and in particular, self-limiting belief. We
live life from who we think we are. Who we think
we are forms the context for our life. Having the
awareness or distinction of the self-limiting belief
allows one the ability to not be it, to not have
life be merely the probable almost certain future
from the past. Without the distinction of the selflimiting
belief one will continue to create life
from the backdrop of this ideational barrier and
as a result life will appear much as it did in the
past.
The technique described below is designed to assist
an individual in becoming present from selflimiting
belief and in the process to create the
space or opening to invent a possibility or possi -
bilities for recreating life:
1. Find a relaxing and comfortable space to sit
in for approximately one hour. Arrange for this
space to be free of any distractions. Just allow
yourself to begin to relax. Become present to
where and who you are. The use of therapeutic
relaxation music can promote the development
of a very profound sense of relaxation to enhance
this experience.
2. Take a notebook and begin to write down eve -
rything that you believe describes or defines who
you are. Let your mind wander and do not tr y
to filter or block out anything. Just let whatever
comes up about yourself, how you feel and what
you think about yourself, to be written down.
Who you think you are or that which bests de -
scribes you may appear in single words or shor t
phrases. If in a group, share your description of
yourself with others. Furthermore, make two lists
as there will appear to be both positives and negatives
aspects about who you think you are.
3. Sit your notebook down, close your eyes and
begin to relax deeply again. Again, the use of
therapeutic relaxation music will assist you in the
process of creating a very deep state of relaxation.
As you begin to move into a deep state of relaxa -
tion allow yourself to begin to drift back through
time, back through your life, back through y our
adulthood, adolescence and into your childhood.
Allow yourself to become present to how you
were being, experiences, thoughts and feelings,
through the various phases or stages of your life.
Just become present to or notice what appears for
you.
4. Open your eyes and return to work on your
notebook. Take a look at what you have written
and add anything that you became present to
about yourself during the above mentioned relaxation
exercise. Again, do not filter out anything
but merely allow whatever there is to come to the
surface, both the positive and negative words that
best describes who you think and feel you ar e or
were.
5. Once you have come to a completion of creat -
ing the lists, both positive and negative, conside r
that the positives of who you think yourself to be
form the pretense of your life and that their de -
sign or function is to fix the negatives of who you
think you are.
6. Allow yourself to become present to the negatives
you have written down. Notice which one of
the negatives best describes who you are, what you
commonly believe and feel about yourself, wha t
you have experienced in your mind in the past
and even now. Declare the negative aspect that is
familiar to you to be your self-limiting belief.
7. Place your notebook in your lap. Allow yourself
to become fully present to the fact that what you
have written is you, is who you believe yourself to
be. Become present to an inauthentic way of be -
ing, the positive as pretense and the negativ es as
that which we hide from ourselves and the world.
8. Place the notebook into your past. If you are
right handed place your notebook to your left. If
you are left handed place your notebook to your
right. Place the notebook approximately three
feet from you.
9. Once you place your notebook into your past
allow yourself to become present to where your
notebook is in relation to your body, to your right
or left. Allow yourself to again become present to
that which you have written in your noteboo k is
who you believe you are and that it exists to either
your right or left.
10. Once you become present to who you believe
yourself to be, to the description of yourself as you
have written, allow yourself to become prese nt
to what now lies in front of you. Given that who
you think you are is either to your left or right,
become present to what exists in front of you is
nothing, an opening from which everything and
anything is possible and can be created.
11. Inside the nothing that appears in front of you,
invent a possibility or possibilities for yourse lf
and your life. Declare your possibility in language
or word, of who you will take on being in life, for
yourself. Furthermore, this declaration becom es
your personal affirmation of who you will be in
and for the world.
12. Repeat this exercise everyday. Repeating this
exercise daily will allow one to continue to stay
present to self limiting belief so as to not be it and
also to the possibility or possibilities that he h as
created and invented for life. The self-limiting
belief that one initially becomes present to may
reveal even deeper meaning for who one is or has
been being.
The exercise outlined above is about the work of
the first components of Transformational Coun -
seling and beginning the process of transformation.
IMAGINATION
Take Advantage Of Your Imagination and Boost Your Creativity
By Leo Degrassi
You are creative, even if you’ve
failed to realize it. In fact, you
can’t fail to create. You created the
life you’re living right now, even if
you don’t appreciate it very much!
However, unless you’ve tried to maximize
your creativity, you’ve only been operating
at half-throttle. It’s possible to be much
more creative than you have been in the
past. Being able to access your imagination
and then use it to find creative solutions
will make life easier, more enjoyable, and
bring you greater fulfillment.
Enhance your ability to access your
imagination with these strategies:
• Practice without distractions. Turn off
the TV and dim the lights. Have a seat
and close your eyes. Allow your mind
to wander, but don’t fall asleep. Instead
of trying to steer your thoughts, let
them run wild. Practice being an
observer instead of a director. Do this
daily for 15-20 minutes.
• Use all of your senses. You can do
more than just see. You have the ability
to hear, feel, smell, and touch. Use all
of these senses when you’re utilizing
your imagination.
• Your imagination will feel stronger if
you use it daily. Try not to skip a day.
• Read something outrageous (for you).
Try reading a fictional book about
aliens, fire-breathing dragons, or time
travel. Expose yourself to new ideas and
concepts. The more you experience,
the more your imagination will have
to work.
• The same goes for movies. Branch out.
You can only watch so many action
movies or romantic comedies!
• Take up a creative hobby. Learn to
paint, sculpture, or play the accordion.
Try writing a screenplay or drawing a
monster. Use the creative part of your
brain.
• Explore your passions. Do something
you’ve always wanted to try, but
haven’t yet. New mental states can
increase your level of creativity.
Use your imagination to find creative
solutions:
Set an intention. Think of an intention
as a short-term goal for an activity. What
are you trying to accomplish with your
imagination? Find a solution for your
relationship challenge? Figure out a way to
earn more money? Invent a gadget that will
change the world? It’s important to have an
objective for your imagination to focus on.
Choose a method of addressing your
imagination:
1. You can turn off the lights and focus
on your intention.
2. You could sleep on it.
3. You could sit at a clean table with a pad
of paper and write whatever comes to
mind.
4. You could ask yourself questions and
listen for the answers.
5. Take part in an activity that engages
your mind, but not completely. This
can include activities like cleaning the
house, taking a shower, mowing the
lawn, or listening to classical music.
These activities occupy part of your
mind, but leave the remainder to
create ideas.
6. Act on what you discover. Creative
solutions are worthless unless you act
upon them.
7. Reward yourself for being creative by
putting your ideas into action. Sort
your ideas and choose the best one.
Try and see if your imagination was
correct! You’ll get better with practice.
Our great creativity is one of the things that
separates us from other forms of life. Using
your creativity effectively can help you to
find better solutions to the challenges in
your life. Creativity can fade with age, but
that’s just because we fail to use it regularly.
Your ability to imagine is one way to address
your creativity. Instead of mindlessly
staring out the window and daydreaming,
you can direct your imagination to address
specific issues in life.
ELEVATED STATES
Typically known for
his acting and stunts,
Angelos clearly has a
knack for capturing
people in elevated states.
He shows us the catharsis
of a day to yourself and the
gargantuan force of the
ocean against a diligent
soul. He introduces us
to an atmosphere laced
with the stale scent of
nicotine and booze that
so often seems to imply
impending imprudence.
Nothing compares to the
therapeutic nature of a
night out.
“Through my work and
accomplishments, I
strive to reach, inspire
and motivate others
to live out their own
dreams, find their own
purpose and create their
own future.”

MOTION
7 Effective Ways To Set Your Goals In Motion Today
By Mike Fox
If you really desire to turn your idea into
reality, constantly floating it around
and seeking the approval of people will
waste your time and kill your dream.
Get things in motion today.
Here’s a few ways how:
1. Stop seeking approval from people.
You dont need anyones permission to
fulfill your dream. Trust yourself and give
yourself permission to succeed. Having
support from people whose opinion you
value is a wonderful thing but it should
not be the criterion for whether you begin
acting on fulfilling your goals or not.
What will happen to your idea if you don’t
get the approval of those whose permission
you so desperately need? Nothing!
2. Don’t wait for perfection.
Waiting for a time when everything is
perfect and in place will cause you to lose
your enthusiasm and abandon your goal.
Conditions may never be as perfect as you
desire. You may never have all the money,
time, or knowledge you desire to begin
working on your goals.
You must take risks, learn and improve as
you go along and then watch as everything
begins to fall in place. If you have to wait
for the perfect time to begin working on
your goals you will be waiting a long time!
3. Create time for the goal.
Many people have dreams, ideas or goals,
which remain unfulfilled because they are
too busy doing everything else but work on
the goal! If you have a goal to accomplish,
you must be ready to invest your time, and
resources to ensure that it succeeds.
Making excuses about lacking the time to
work on goals that are important to you
is a procrastination tactic, which will kill
your dream before it has a chance to see the
light of day. There is always time to work
on what we love and consider important.
Create that time and see your dreams begin
to unfold!
You decide what you want to achieve and
then you plan how you intend to achieve it.
If accomplishing your goal is important
to you, your inability to make crucial
decisions about what you should do, how
you should do it and when you should do it,
will waste your time and choke your dream.
Make up your mind and stop secondguessing
yourself. When your mind’s made
up nothing can stop you from making
progress with fulfilling your goals.
5. Be bold and take the initiative.
Be bold! You are the one in charge of
turning your dreams to reality. You need
to be proactive and actively involved in the
process of working on your goals to ensure
you achieve them.
Just because you have shared your ideas
with others does not necessarily mean that
you are no longer responsible for turning
them to reality. Don’t sit around waiting
for others to make suggestions and guide
your idea to reality. Don’t leave your dream
entirely in the hands of others. Nobody
cares about your dream like you do.
6. Invest in your dream.
No idea is self-funding. Don’t be deceived
into thinking that people will invest or
finance your idea just because it is brilliant.
If you are lucky, someone may invest in it,
but if you are not, you will have to invest
your time, energy and finances towards
activities that will fortify and fulfill your
dream.
7. Do one thing at a time.
Commit yourself only to projects and
activities which are connected to your
main goal. Whatever you do should directly
or indirectly add up to a move toward your
main goal. Failure to do this will confuse,
overwhelm, sidetrack, and drain your
energy.
To get started on achieving your goals, you
need to plan for it and make it a priority. If
you keep crowding and cluttering your life
with what does not matter, you many never,
ever accomplish your goals.
The time is now.
4. Decide once and for all.
The process of goal accomplishment, like
most things in life begins with a decision.
Movement is supposed to be
fun. It should be good for
the soul as well as for the
body.
Our bodies are meant to be in motion. To
be active, agile, busy, and full of life. We
weren’t meant to sit on the couch all day
any more than we were meant to spend
hours locked away in smelly gyms.
Time travel back to when you were a child.
If you were like most children, you were on
the move all the time. It was never called
exercise. Who would have thought of such
a thing?
MOTION
Play More, Suffer Less
By Ian Udem
It was called PLAYING! And it was fun.
Children don’t count calories. They don’t
force themselves to play for a certain
amount of time. They move around
because they love it and it feels good.
No pain, no gain – well that’s facts and if
lifting weights makes you happy, more
power to you. But for most people that gym
membership is just a waste of money and
another source of guilt. Life is just too short
to spend it being miserable. The solution?
Play more. Have more fun.
Keep it simple. Make it easy. Just get up and
move your body around a little each day by:
1. Move in ways you LOVE.
2. Move to feed your soul and to feel
vibrantly healthy.
3. Explore a park.
4. Treat yourself to fun and playful ways
to move about each day.
5. Fire the drill sergeant in your head
and do what feels good.
6. Look for ways to move that make your
heart soar with happiness.
7. Use your phone to escape from reality
by taking photos of your favorite
places.
MOTION
Keeping It Steady
By Leo Degrassi
Have you ever experienced finding
a perfect shutter moment totally
ruined because of a blurred or
off-center shot? It is indeed a little
difficult to get the shot perfect when your
aim is off, even by just a few centimeters.
From shaky hands to motion-sensitive
cameras, there are a lot of reasons why you
get these problems in the first place. This is
where tripods come in.
Such tripods are designed in such a way
that they give you maximum stability while
requiring minimal technical expertise
with cameras. You’d get a solid platform for
you to shoot a perfectly still picture, while
the simplicity of most digital cameras will
free you from having to read the manual
twice over to know how to do it.
These are just a few examples of when
tripod digital cameras can be useful for
taking the best possible shot:
Portraits
When it comes to capturing the images of
people, you would want a picture thats right
on the mark. A little too much to the right,
and the left portion of the portrait would
look empty. A little bit too much to the
bottom, and you may miss some smaller
but vital facial features.
That’s because portraits are based on
symmetry. If the picture is off even by just
a few millimeters, the picture of the person
would then end up being asymmetrical,
ruining the beauty of the portrait. You’d
need stability to keep the camera focused,
and only a tripod can give you that stability.
Motion-Sensitive Cameras
While some cameras are able to
compensate for motion, others would end
up hopelessly blurred with just even the
slightest movement while the picture was
taken.
Tripods help solve this blurry problem
by providing a solid and stable grip for
the camera, allowing the shot to be taken
perfectly.
Long-Distance Shots
Even the steadiest hand cannot avoid a
slight tremor when held up for more than
a few seconds. Long distance shots, like
scenic shots, are sensitive to the effects
of even the slightest vibrations. The
resulting combinations would either be
a less-than-perfect shot, or a shot that’s
blurry beyond recognition. Tripods on
digital cameras solve this problem by
providing the necessary stability to capture
a long-distance or fast motion shot. This is
especially important, since long-distance
shots require a lot of adjustments to get the
symmetry required for a perfect picture.
When you want to get the perfect picture,
you need the stability and versatility that
only a tripod can provide. Without such
a device, you would find scenic shots and
portraits nearly impossible to take without
some element of blur disproportion.

Easy Ways To Improve Personality
By Crystal Adler
Personality cannot be quantified.
Personality can be perceived. Why
we are delighted to hear somebody
is beyond any scientific explanation.
Similarly, why we love seeing some body
walk is beyond any science. Personality is a
mix of traits that gives a whole impression
that can be either attractive or disturbing.
How to improve Personality? Since we
judge people with their personality, it is
important to find out why a person attracts
while another creates negative vibes.
Let us begin with posture. Watch yourself
in the mirror. Are you keeping a straight
body? Watch yourself walking. If you see
somebody else walking like that, would you
like that? If yes, great, otherwise find out
what can be done for improvement.
Go through all your normal body
movements with a fine comb and bring
necessary changes in them to make
yourself more attractive.
Things like these are important to have
great confidence resulting in great posture:
1. Vocabulary
2. Choice of Words
3. Body Maintenance
4. Nails
5. Hair
6. Face Acne
7. Mouth Odor and Body Odor
Make a list of things you value the most
in someone else and take care of all these
aspects.
Small additions and changes will slowly
make big changes in your personality and
make you a star.

Creating A Healthy Environment For Self Esteem
By Kiana Liae
Healthy self esteem originates
in the environment found in
the: family, school, peer group,
work place, and community.
There are certain characteristics of your
environment that need to be present in
order for self esteem to be fostered and
grow.
The main component of a healthy
environment for self esteem is that it
needs to be nurturing. It should provide
unconditional warmth, love, and caring.
It needs to provide the realization that
other people are recognized as deserving
to be nurtured, reinforced, rewarded, and
bonded to.
Healthy environment for self esteem
transmits messages of warmth, loving,
and caring by physical touch, meeting the
survival needs of food, clothing and shelter,
and providing a sense of stability and order
in life. Allowing you to create your best self
and best work yet.
A healthy environment for self esteem
should provide acceptance. It will recognize
that other people see each other as worthy
individuals who have a unique set of
personality characteristics, skills, abilities,
and competencies making them special.
Acceptance enables people to develop
relationships with others, yet maintain
healthy boundaries of individuality within
themselves.
Creating a healthy environment for
self esteem should consist of good
communication, everyone should be heard
and responded to in a healthy way so that
healthy problem solving is possible.
Appropriate giving and receiving of
feedback is encouraged and rewarded.
Communicating at a “feelings” level is
a mode of operation for these people,
allowing them to be in touch with their
emotions in a productive manner. This can
be online or in-person, just be around it
and attentive to it.
Unconditional recognition and acceptance
given in the form of support allows
individuals to reach their ultimate
potential. That means, always respect and
latitude for individual action within the
defined limits of the healthy environment
for self esteem should be present as well.
This encourages individuals to use their
creativity, ingenuity, and imagination to be
productive within the established structure.
Restrictions that suppress individuality
can lead to a narrow focus, with people
becoming stunted and handicapped in the
use of their personal skills, abilities, and
resources.
Finally, healthy environment for self
esteem should be bonding, which is
the physical/emotional phenomenon
between individuals and the others in
their environment. This is necessary for
the development of healthy self esteem.
Bonding is forming a mutual emotional
attachment between an individual and a
“significant other” (parent, child, friend,
lover, etc.). This involves the significant
other giving unconditional love and
support as well as developing an emotional
link between each other.
Create your own environment.

The Core Of Living A Healthy Life
By Mike Fox
No matter what you do in
life, you need your body to
function. Taking care of it is
extremely important. The core
is composed of muscles in the hip, pelvis,
abdominal, and low back area. The core is
important because it stabilizes balances the
part of the body where the center of gravity
is located and where every movement
begins. Because of its importance, a healthy
core leads to improvements in one’s overall
health and allowing us to chase our dreams,
practically forever.
People who have weak cores are prone to
chronic back pain and posture problems.
A well-developed core on the other hand,
may help prevent injuries and other
ailments because of stronger muscles that
may support the spine, pelvis and shoulder
joints.
Strong core muscles can handle certain
joint tension that may lead to back and
joint injuries. In addition, a healthy core
may lead to improved posture strong
because the abdominal muscles support
the spine.
Proper elimination of waste products
is also a benefit of strong core muscles,
because the pelvic floor muscles are part
of it. If the pelvic muscles are weak, they
cannot contract properly and result to
improper bowel functioning.
Because of the health benefits of
maintaining a fit core, many people are
have been including core training in their
lifestyles. The good news is fitness many
tools for core training are widely available.
One of the most popular choice for core
training is the fitness ball. A fitness ball, also
known as Pilates ball, stability ball, Swiss
ball, and gym ball is made of elastic rubber
which usually has a diameter of 14 to 34
inches. Instead of exercising directly on a
flat surface, exercising with a fitness ball
provides instability that create tension to
the core muscles that aids its development.
Fitness ball exercises may aid in developing
abdominal muscles by channeling the
right amount of tension towards it. Studies
show that doing core exercises on a fitness
ball has been shown to improve balance in
older individuals.
Exercising with a fitness ball is a great core
workout because of the instability of having
to balance or center the body’s gravity while
moving on the ball. In addition fitness ball
abdominal exercises can promote weight
loss by lowering the abdominal fats.
Regular core exercise coupled with
nutritious diet are vital components of
good health. Individuals who seek to
improve their health should seek the
advice of health professionals to maximize
the effects of exercise and healthy food
regimen.
Obtaining the right information from
experts is important in improving one’s
health. Good health is a lifetime journey
and is one of the components of a happy
life.

and are vaguely dangerous. Life could be described this
way…
“Let us hope that the Arch somehow survives-that it
becomes, far in the future, a mysterious structure like
the Great Pyramids or Stonehenge, that leads onlookers
to wonder about the people who produced it and
ask themselves what strange compulsions led to its
creation.” — Tracy Campbell,
