OUR BETH TORAH IS
IN YOUR HANDS
A Message from Our President
Rich Berger
As we look at the story of the Exodus from Egypt
and the Jewish people wandering in the desert, we
see how people can come together with a set of
laws and form a nation. The Torah is our guide and
as a congregation we use lessons from Exodus to
form a stronger community.
During the first part of this new decade of the 20’s
– where both the century and the year align – we
can be proud of the participation of congregants
in the constant growth of our Beth Torah. My
goal, as the President of the Board, is to find
ways to make BTBRC relevant to all our members.
Moses taught us to strive to make the best of
your situation and to constantly be open to new
learnings. Our Board is focused on “Relational
Judaism” – being a welcoming community. We are
blessed to have the most wonderful, hard-working
professional leaders and staff. Our clergy – Rabbi
Rojzman, Rabbi Farber and Cantor Bogomolni – are
the BEST, they ARE our Beth Torah!
So, let’s take a moment to look at our journey’s
“wanderings” and see who we are and what we
need to embrace the opportunities of the upcoming
decade.
THIS IS US:
• We are PROUD of Beth Torah’s accomplishments
and place in the community. Our 80- year history
will be celebrated in the upcoming year.
• We are a vibrant, multicultural, inclusive, growing,
egalitarian congregation of approximately 700
member families which means that over 2,200
individuals are impacted by their membership at
Beth Torah!
• We develop meaningful relationships and
experiences by committing to our core values
of spirituality, education, community, Israel and
repairing the world.
• We have inspirational prayer services – Friday
night’s Shabbat B’Yachad service is a spiritual
