MACLELLAN FOUNDATION GRANTS RECOGNIZE CHCA'S INNOVATIVE APPROACH “We partner with the courageous to change the world.” Incorporated in 1945 by the Maclellan family, The Maclellan Foundation, Inc. (through its Christian Education Charitable Trust) “proactively explores and promotes fresh, innovative approaches to Christian education that go beyond traditional practices, in order to integrate technology and scalability with instruction inspired by Scripture.” Since 2016, CHCA has received $150,000 in funding via two separate grants which established the CHCA Print Shop as the third student-run entrepreneurial venture. Under the leadership of Adam Cool, the Print Shop now supplies a large portion of our on-campus printing needs, from screen printed t-shirts to senior banners, signage, and marketing banners and photos for Open House events. Operating as an on-site business provides our students real-world opportunities to challenge their minds as leaders, entrepreneurs, engineers, designers, collaborators, and manufacturers, while honing their talents in a Christ-centered context. We are excited to witness student enthusiasm and energy to become not just learners but doers through ventures like these, made possible through the generosity of the Maclellan Foundation. 74
