2015 WILL ELLIS Will graduated from Miami University with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Music Theatre. Just this past year, he was able to study classical voice in Graz, Austria, perform in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at The Carnegie, music direct a student production of "Carrie: the Musical", won First Place in his category at the Ohio National Association of Teachers of Singing Voice Competition, and returned to CHCA to help vocal coach their production of “Les Misérables” and sing with their orchestra! This summer, he moved to Lenox, MA to work at Boston University's Tanglewood Institute as the Vocal Program Coordinator for their six-week young artist voice program that teaches prospective music majors from around the world! After that he moved to Columbus, OH looking for jobs in the music and arts fields! 1 | SAM HANDELSMAN January 2018, Sam married Alexa. They met in 2015 while working at Breakout Games. Right now his main focus is learning how to be her husband and leading their family well. Outside of family, Sam is working on a project call Win Cincinnati that he co-founded with Andy Garrett '09. They partner with Cincinnati brands and events to promote them through giveaways and a live trivia show where participants win things. Sam has also been the General Manager at Breakout Games Cincinnati for the last four years. 2 | REBECCA RICHART Rebecca graduated from the University of Cincinnati and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in May. She entered active duty two days later and is now stationed in Las Vegas, Nevada at Nellis Air Force Base. She is an aircraft maintenance officer working on F-15, F-16, F-22, and F-35 fighter jets. "We also have the Thunderbirds at Nellis." (pictured) She is a proud aunt to two nieces from her sisters ('06 and '10 grads). MICHELLE BARNETT Michelle is a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship to Ecuador as an English Teaching Assistant, beginning October 2019 for nine months. Immediately upon return from Ecuador, she will begin her graduate program in Memphis at Memphis Teacher Residency, earning a Masters of Urban Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language. GABE HOYER Gabe graduated from Belmont University in May with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. He loved his four years there, and is excited for what the future holds. This summer, he performed at Cedar Point in their flagship show, “Nashville Hits”, at the Red Garter Saloon. This fall he performed in Cedar Point’s Halloweekends. “I am forever grateful for the opportunities and lessons given to me from CHCA, and how they prepared me for the real world. God bless you all!” 2016 3 | MORGAN BOWEN As a student at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC, Morgan has been on the Women’s golf team all three years of school and will be continuing on the team entering her senior year of college. She was elected a team captain her junior year and will be carrying out that role her senior year as well. She competed in the Division III National Championship Tournament her sophomore year, where they finished 8th, and returned her junior year where they finished 3rd! She is a two-time WGCA All-American Scholar and a three-time USA South Academic All-Conference team. This past golf season, at the National Championship, Morgan was named to the WGCA All- Region team. Her junior year included many other accomplishments: selected to attend the PGA Annual Meeting in Indian Wells, California where the first woman president was sworn in, voted the Most Outstanding Junior for Professional Golf Management, and added to the President’s List for Academic Achievement! Having to fulfill 16 months of internships in the PGM program, she has served internships at locations such as Country Club of the Rockies in Edwards, CO, Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD, and she is currently interning at the Jim McLean Golf School which is located at The Biltmore in Coral Gables, FL where she is pursuing an interest and career in golf instruction. She is enjoying her time at Methodist and so grateful for these opportunities and accomplishments! She is excited and can't wait to see what her final year at Methodist is going to bring! 2017 4 | HANNAH PRICE Hannah spent June and July of 2019 doing mission work in Ljubljana, Slovenia after spending last summer interning at Great American Insurance Group in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio! *While CHCA celebrates the work and accomplishments of all alumni, CHCA does not endorse businesses and organizations represented in updates.
