2015 WILL ELLIS Will graduated from Miami University with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Music Theatre. Just this past year, he was able to study classical voice in Graz, Austria, perform in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” at The Carnegie, music direct a student production of "Carrie: <strong>the</strong> Musical", won First Place in his category at <strong>the</strong> Ohio National Association of Teachers of Singing Voice Competition, and returned to CHCA to help vocal coach <strong>the</strong>ir production of “Les Misérables” and sing with <strong>the</strong>ir orchestra! This summer, he moved to Lenox, MA to work at Boston University's Tanglewood Institute as <strong>the</strong> Vocal Program Coordinator for <strong>the</strong>ir six-week young artist voice program that teaches prospective music majors from around <strong>the</strong> world! After that he moved to Columbus, OH looking for jobs in <strong>the</strong> music and arts fields! 1 | SAM HANDELSMAN January <strong>2018</strong>, Sam married Alexa. They met in 2015 while working at Breakout Games. Right now his main focus is learning how to be her husband and leading <strong>the</strong>ir family well. Outside of family, Sam is working on a project call Win Cincinnati that he co-founded with Andy Garrett '09. They partner with Cincinnati brands and events to promote <strong>the</strong>m through giveaways and a live trivia show where participants win things. Sam has also been <strong>the</strong> General Manager at Breakout Games Cincinnati for <strong>the</strong> last four years. 2 | REBECCA RICHART Rebecca graduated from <strong>the</strong> University of Cincinnati and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in May. She entered active duty two days later and is now stationed in Las Vegas, Nevada at Nellis Air Force Base. She is an aircraft maintenance officer working on F-15, F-16, F-22, and F-35 fighter jets. "We also have <strong>the</strong> Thunderbirds at Nellis." (pictured) She is a proud aunt to two nieces from her sisters ('06 and '10 grads). MICHELLE BARNETT Michelle is a recipient of <strong>the</strong> Fulbright Scholarship to Ecuador as an English Teaching Assistant, beginning October <strong>2019</strong> for nine months. Immediately upon return from Ecuador, she will begin her graduate program in Memphis at Memphis Teacher Residency, earning a Masters of Urban Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language. GABE HOYER Gabe graduated from Belmont University in May with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. He loved his four years <strong>the</strong>re, and is excited for what <strong>the</strong> future holds. This summer, he performed at Cedar Point in <strong>the</strong>ir flagship show, “Nashville Hits”, at <strong>the</strong> Red Garter Saloon. This fall he performed in Cedar Point’s Halloweekends. “I am forever grateful for <strong>the</strong> opportunities and lessons given to me from CHCA, and how <strong>the</strong>y prepared me for <strong>the</strong> real world. God bless you all!” 2016 3 | MORGAN BOWEN As a student at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC, Morgan has been on <strong>the</strong> Women’s golf team all three years of school and will be continuing on <strong>the</strong> team entering her senior year of college. She was elected a team captain her junior year and will be carrying out that role her senior year as well. She competed in <strong>the</strong> Division III National Championship Tournament her sophomore year, where <strong>the</strong>y finished 8th, and returned her junior year where <strong>the</strong>y finished 3rd! She is a two-time WGCA All-American Scholar and a three-time USA South Academic All-Conference team. This past golf season, at <strong>the</strong> National Championship, Morgan was named to <strong>the</strong> WGCA All- Region team. Her junior year included many o<strong>the</strong>r accomplishments: selected to attend <strong>the</strong> PGA <strong>Annual</strong> Meeting in Indian Wells, California where <strong>the</strong> first woman president was sworn in, voted <strong>the</strong> Most Outstanding Junior for Professional Golf Management, and added to <strong>the</strong> President’s List for Academic Achievement! Having to fulfill 16 months of internships in <strong>the</strong> PGM program, she has served internships at locations such as Country Club of <strong>the</strong> Rockies in Edwards, CO, Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, MD, and she is currently interning at <strong>the</strong> Jim McLean Golf School which is located at The Biltmore in Coral Gables, FL where she is pursuing an interest and career in golf instruction. She is enjoying her time at Methodist and so grateful for <strong>the</strong>se opportunities and accomplishments! She is excited and can't wait to see what her final year at Methodist is going to bring! 2017 4 | HANNAH PRICE Hannah spent June and July of <strong>2019</strong> doing mission work in Ljubljana, Slovenia after spending last summer interning at Great American Insurance Group in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio! *While CHCA celebrates <strong>the</strong> work and accomplishments of all alumni, CHCA does not endorse businesses and organizations represented in updates. He's also staying busy racing in triathlons with his dad, while still attending <strong>the</strong> University of Michigan. <strong>2018</strong> 5 | JAYDA COLEMAN Jayda is working as a Resident’s Assistant in <strong>the</strong> Honors College this semester, as well as serving on <strong>the</strong> Executive Board for a student organization group called Sister Circle, whose mission is to uplift women of color personally, socially, & professionally. 5 39
