WHAT'S MAKING HEADLINES With each passing year at CHCA, students, faculty, staff, and parents are regularly making headlines for extraordinary things. This past year has been no exception. Each aspect of our community is consistently learning, leading, and serving with nothing short of excellence. After all, it’s the heart of who we are and what we do as a school and community. CHCA Grade 6 Student Makes a Difference in the Lives of Foster Children Maddie Richman uses Operation Impact idea to help others. Ten CHCA Seniors Have Been Recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation Chanse Ashman, Douglas Hansford, Abby Jutt, Hannah Odom, and Sydney Sauer have been named National Merit Semifinalists. Leon Bao, Patrick Bruns, Madeline Dykstra, Luke Springer, and Julia Stotz have been recognized as National Merit commended students. CHCA's Upper School Named Best Christian High School in Ohio CHCA upper school recognized once again in Niche ranking. CHCA Volleyball Teams Raise Over $3,700 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society CHCA Shantytown October 2018 CHCA upper school students experience what it would be like to be homeless. Aquaponics and Stem Education Flourishes at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy CHCA aquaponics program collaborates with Jubilee Project and NASA. CHCA Student Cast in the Cincinnati Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker" Grade 6 CHCA student, Caroline Blair, shares her passion for dance with the Cincinnati Ballet. CHCA Dedicates Advanced Placement Art Gallery in Summers' Honor Recognizing Fine Arts Director, Mona Summers, for over twenty years of dedication to the arts at CHCA. Northeast Cincinnati Rotary Honors CHCA Student CHCA senior, Peyton Bach, receives prestigious award. ‘Armleder Eleven’ Reflect on Their CHCA Education as Seniors Armleder class who met in Kindergarten still close friends as they head to graduation together. Legacy of Light Mr. Hilderbrand’s Stained Glass Class revealed a piece they have been working on since the beginning of the school year, now permanently installed in CHCA's greenhouse. A Special Journey: Finding My Way Along the Camino Special journey for CHCA alumna, Ellie Coggins ‘14. CHCA Students' Films Receive Numerous Film Festival Recognition Several CHCA seniors and alumni continue to be recognized at film festivals. The AFAA presented its awards December 7, 2018 at a banquet in Brooklyn, New York. Senior Gabe Schmidt was recognized among filmmakers ages seventeen and younger for directing the short film Under Pressure. CHCA Students Present Disney's "Mary Poppins JR." to Four Sold Out Crowds Grade 5-8 students sing, dance, and fly in their production of Mary Poppins JR.
