copper pitchers for minerals
Thermae Retreat is now located at 215 NE 22nd Street, Delray
Beach - only one-mile North from their old location and behind
Anuttara Yoga. Their new address provides a more intimate
atmosphere, bohemian style space, with a new large outdoor
barrel sauna, private garden and an organic café offering a variety
of smoothies and healthy bites for guests. The spacious meditation
room has ‘active meditation’ offering sacred geometry adult coloring
books and knitting - which have the same benefits on the brain
as meditation - and are used for those who have a hard time quieting
the mind. Another area is filled with lounges and pillows with
headsets for listening to guided meditation or frequency music.
As soon as you walk through the doors you feel at peace because
of a sacred geometry crystal grid hung on their ceiling built by Robert
Cannellos (thecrystalmagician.com) in the reception room, and
the paint used on the walls throughout the retreat infused with selenite
clears negative energy simply by entering the space.
The Delray Beach day retreat provides an organic wellness space
centered around relaxing, detoxing saunas and holistic therapies.
“Therapist Anthony Carrancejie and I are partners in the new space
which is a beautiful addition to the location,” says Shaman Debra
Kelly. Debra, the Shaman in Thermae Delray, started in the Fort
Lauderdale location in 2013 and Anthony joined the tribe in 2017.
Anthony, also a therapist at Hippocrates Health Institute offers cupping,
craniosacral therapy, custom massage and hosts the weekly
Men’s Gathering. Now in their third year with continued growth,
they have added more services including classes and workshops,
unique treatments, and an array of memberships for their guests.
Recently, Thermae Retreat was given an award from Trip Advisor,
four years in a row, for best wellness retreat since 2016 (the Fort
Lauderdale location opened in 2013).
For the month of January, they are expanding their workshops
and services. On Monday nights from 6 to 9pm, they are hosting
Silent Nights, where people can come and be quiet with no distractions,
completely unplugged. Every Tuesday night at 7pm is a
Brotherhood Mens Circle. During the week they have a variety of
and New Location
This is not your typical day spa. Thermae Retreat
has a new location and the unique treatments
and amenities are loved by members and guests.
Owners Kelly Doyle & Shaman Debra Kelly, Head Guide
Shamylla Ross and therapists Ilana and Lacey with guest
workshops - one teaches members how to use botanicals and oils
for a cold or flu. Their Shaman Debra Kelly is offering sound baths
and medicine work in a new energy room.
“For 2020, we have added new amenities for memberships,
such as our Hot Stone Barrel Finnish Sauna which will be located
on the private deck in the garden. “A barrel style sauna distributes
the heat better than a traditional square sauna and it is so cool to
see,” says Shamylla, Thermae’s Head Guide. “Our focus is to assist
guests in finding stillness, release stress and energy that no
longer serves them.”
Thermae Retreat offers a day membership for $45 and allows
guests to see everything they have to offer; for another $64 you can
experience a 60-minute massage for the whole sauna retreat experience.
“We customize our treatments and offerings depending
on our guest’s needs,” says Kelly Doyle, owner of Thermae Retreat.
The unlimited memberships, start at $159 a month, and allow
members to come as often as they want and stay as long as they
want; this membership includes infrared saunas with chromo-
