Tours for People that Don’t Go on Tours
But love to travel…
The magic of Italy is a legend passed down from
generations of Americans and Italians. But often we think
that experiencing that magic is solely for those with relatives
or friends in Italy. Nada Vergili proved everyone wrong.
The native Italian, who grew up in Florence, followed her heart
to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2001. It was there that she
taught Italian language, cooking, and culture. Before long, her
students began asking for her advice on where to go in Italy, what
restaurants to dine at and what to do. They wanted an authentic Italian
experience and knew that Nada would be the best source.
They were right.
“My students wanted an authentic Italian experience; they didn’t
want a typical tourist situation. So, in 2004 I took a few of them on
a group tour to Tuscany. We rented a villa, took day trips to small
villages and wineries, and my mother cooked them an authentic
Italian meal,” said Nada, who lives in Delray Beach and has an office
in Pineapple Grove.
That experience led to a conclusion that changed the trajectory of
her life. “I realized that many people don’t like traditional tours and
want an authentic Italian travel experience. I have direct contact
with the best drivers, local chefs, unique activities, boutique luxury
hotels, private villas and castles, wineries and cultural activities.”
