The elegant Prime Cut at Boca West Country Club was the<br />

setting when members and friends of Impact 100 Palm<br />

Beach County gathered for a Cocktails & Conversations reception<br />

on November 18, hosted by Impact members Sharon DiPietro<br />

and Edith Stein. The event welcomed women in southern Palm<br />

Beach County interested in joining the organization and making<br />

a huge impact on nonprofit organizations in the community.<br />

“Our organization was founded in 2011 with the goal of becoming<br />

a dynamic leader in women’s philanthropy through<br />

high-impact grants awarded to non-profits, dedicated to improving<br />

lives and communities in south Palm Beach County,”<br />

noted Adkins. “Last year, we received our 501c3 non-profit status<br />

and are currently the second largest Impact 100 chapter<br />

in the world – Impact 100 Palm Beach County is a major grant<br />

funder is our area and we are so very proud of that.”<br />

Adkins then introduced 2016 grant recipient Jonathan Price,<br />

Vice President, Grants & Fund Development of Alzheimer’s<br />

Community Care.<br />

Impact 100 Palm Beach County is a women’s 501c3 nonprofit<br />

organization funding local nonprofit initiatives. It is comprised<br />

of a growing number of women who donate $1,000 annually,<br />

pool all funds and vote to award multiple $100,000 grants to<br />

nonprofits serving southern Palm Beach County in five focus<br />

areas: Arts, Culture and Historic Preservation; Education; Environment<br />

and Animal Welfare; Family; and Health and Wellness.<br />
