Steps for Life 5k Run/Walk<br />

South Florida<br />

Steps for Life is a 5K run-walk for athletes and families alike,<br />

and is dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of<br />

joining the marrow registry.<br />

Join us in the fight to cure blood cancers through stem cell and<br />

bone marrow transplants. We all have the power to save a life!<br />

Steps for Life will feature the first-ever meeting of a recipient<br />

and their life-saving donor, a Superhero Sprint for children under<br />

6, and a certified timed run.<br />

The event is Sunday, <strong>January</strong> 19th at Florida <strong>Atlantic</strong> University,<br />

777 Glades Rd #27, Boca Raton.<br />

Event day check-in/registration starts at 8am, Opening<br />

Ceremony begins at 8:30am, Kids Superhero Sprint begins at<br />

8:45am. Race Start Time 9am. Event ends approximately at<br />

noon. The cost to participate: Students Online/At the Event -<br />

$15/$20, Adults Online/At the Event - $30/$35, Kids Under 6<br />

Achievement Centers for Children & Families (ACCF) is<br />

pleased to announce that we have been named the beneficiary<br />

of the “Swing for A Cause” charity golf tournament that featured<br />

a two-day golf event at the Seagate Golf & Country Club,<br />

with guest Emcee Jason Pugh of ESPN 106.3 FM, on December<br />

1st and 2nd and raised $106,100 to support ACCF programs.<br />
