keeper Handley as

the keeper parried

the ball away to

safety. Agyemang

had an effort

blocked before

Darlaston missed a

golden chance to

get themselves

back into the

game on 58

minutes. A Luke

Wilson cross to the

back post eluded

the Littleton

defence, Hough rose superbly to head goal wards but

unfortunately for the home fans the ball went agonisingly wide of

the post with Handley stranded.

Billingham had two efforts, one blocked and one saved whilst Jade

Ferron also brought a comfortable save from Whittaker.

The one bright spot in the afternoon for Darlaston was the

introduction from the bench of long term injury victim Tyrone

Clarke O'Connell. Clarke O'Connell's impact was immediate as his

pace and quality immediately gave full back Harrison all the

trouble he could handle, three times Jack Pearlman cutting out

crosses into the penalty area to clear the danger.

Darlaston reduced the arrears on 85 minutes when another Clarke

O'Connell cross was turned into his own net by Pearlman.

Garmson had a 90th minute free kick blocked, whilst deep into

injury time an

Agyemang

header went

inches wide.

Overall Littleton

were worthy

winners as

Darlaston were

below par and

failed to play the

quality of

football they are

renowned for.
