With just three West Midlands Regional Premier Division games
beating the weather Darlaston missed a glorious chance to go third
in the table and create a small gap between them and the chasing
teams. It was visitors Littleton who leapfrogged their opponents
into third spot capitalising on two poor defensive errors and
generally having the edge in an uninspiring game where neither
side were at their best.
The opening few minutes were uneventful until the 10th minute
when an attempted back header by Luke Wilson failed to reach
keeper Liam Whittaker, full back Taylor Morrison intercepted to
coolly slot beyond the stranded Whittaker from 12 yards.
