View from the DugoutGood afternoon and welcome to thePaycare Ground especially to Littletonfor their first ever visit. I hope everyoneenjoyed last Tuesday night’s gameagainst Worcester Raiders even thoughwe didn't get the result we wanted, itwas fantastic to see so many of youonce again support the lads.We have played two games since mylast programme notes, first weentertained in midweek under lightsWolverhampton Casuals in what was avery competitive game. Also it was areally important one neither side couldafford to lose. Both sides over the 90minutes gave their all to take thepoints, neither side set up defensivelyand played on the front foot in an effortto gain the upper hand to take the 3 points. We felt we performed well onthe evening and were disappointed not to have got the win. The lads workrate and application was second to none and what made it even moreimpressive was the debut by our new exciting young keeper Connor Hopkinswho kept a clean sheet. Connor was playing instead of our regular keeperLiam Whittaker who was suspended for receiving two yellow cards againstWorcester Raiders in the League game during the middle of October, in factthe last competitive game we playedAfter the 0-0 draw with Casuals we were eager to play again quickly, with anaway encounter against Shawbury United due the following Saturday. As theweek unfolded with even more rain, we knew more than likely the gamewould be postponed. But when the Midlands news programmes startedreporting daily on how bad the flooding was in Ludlow after both rivers hadburst their banks. we expected the game was postponed. It was no surprisewhen on Saturday morning following an early pitch inspection, wewere told the game was postponed. The management team and the7
