numerical quotas for final lists of
candidates and place women in
winnable constituencies
• Enforce possibly existing candidate
quota rules by election
bureau or party leadership in line
with the electoral timetable
• Identify incentives to attract
women and encourage them to
run as candidates
• Introduce transparent internal
rules on the allocation of political
party funds in campaigning
• Consider setting up fundraising
networks within your party to
support female candidates’ campaigns
• Consider creating a special internal
party fund for women’s campaigns
