Multifamily Women The annual Multifamily Women’s Summit delivers a premier industry event with notable, thought-provoking speakers, informal peer-to-peer discussions, and unparalleled educational content inside an exclusive networking environment. This Summit is part of a bigger plan to advance women’s leadership in innovation and technology throughout every aspect of the industry with the end-goal of sharing expert content through live events, Multifamily Studios streaming platform, print-based materials, social media, and even a special segment on the current Multifamily Innovation Show. Summit Recap #WeAreMultifamily March 20, 2019 marked the inaugural Multifamily Women’s Summit in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. Attendees, both men and women, kicked off the event with a breathtaking hike in the McDowell Mountains where they pushed themselves to new heights and formed bonds that will last a lifetime. There were plenty of laughs, possibly some perspiration, but most importantly, a huge sense of pride and accomplishment at the end of the 4.5 mile hike. The attendees were then whisked away to various other activities, including an Innovation Showcase at LeaseHawk and filming the first episode in a series following an innovative Stellar Residential leaseup in the heart of central Phoenix. A glass-breaking ceremony and champagne toast were the perfect christening of this new development. The evening’s festivities included dinner and cocktails, a show-stopping performance by Rosevelt Sings, some hilarious improv comedy, and a chance to share the vision for the future of Multifamily Women. Day 2 of the Women’s Summit brought us a moving opening keynote from Felicite Moorman, followed by invaluable wisdom from Heather Wallace, Dru Armstrong, Lori Torres, Dale Phillips, and Elizabeth Francisco. Sara Potecha, author of “West Point Woman”, finished off the day with her powerful keynote about being one of the first women graduates of West Point Academy.
