in the early 20th century, hédiard developed a large counter of rare<br />

confectionaries imported from around the world. the first fruit jellies<br />

were shipped from Brazil and were soon elaborated in an atelier beside<br />

the Parisian boutique, along with fudge, marzipans and other delicacies.<br />

these fruit jellies became an iconic house signature. hédiard has never<br />

ceased creating its confectionary, and proposes glazed chestnuts, calissons<br />

and other succulent sweets displayed in elegant gift boxes as well<br />

as stunning compositions.<br />

6,000 references, from the "cuvée de la madeleine" table wine, selling<br />

for 10,80 Francs, to the lafite-rotschild 1924 jeroboam, at 13,500 Francs.<br />

it is with this same spirit that we seek out the exceptional wine estates<br />

as well as the more affordable wineries, and our selection grows based<br />

on our discerning rigour for individuality and regional excellence.<br />

to this day it is impossible to list the inumerable references of wines,<br />

champagnes, spirits and other bottles offered in our selection. we preserve<br />

and cherish the exceptional vintages and estates in our magical cellar<br />

until we can once again give them pride of place in our flagship store<br />
