INDUSTRIAL

2019 has been a busy year for the industrial and land sector within the Hull and East Riding

region. The local economy is well placed and enjoying a successful year. Activity in the

renewables sector remains strong. Siemens have announced a £200million investment at

Capital Park, Goole, and the modular building sector continues to thrive. Activity in and around

the Humber Ports remains strong despite all the negative conjecture around Brexit. In the last

few months PPH Commercial have completed some significant industrial transactions which are

summarised below.

Phoenix Signs and Yorkshire Doors. The site has been subject

to an extensive refurbishment programme by the current

owners, Avon Capital Estates, and this is now paying dividends

in terms of increased occupier interest with only three vacant

units remaining on the estate.

Rotterdam Park

PPH have concluded the sale of a large industrial unit in the

Sutton Fields Industrial Estate to a local recycling operator.

The property was only on the market a matter of weeks and

there were a number of interested parties looking to secure

the property.

Amsterdam Road

PPH have acquired a 25,000 sq ft unit on Amsterdam Road for a

private client. The building is undergoing a full refurbishment

Larsen Trade Park at Goole has seen a number of recent

INDUSTRIAL

Demand for freehold industrial/workshop/distribution units in the Doncaster area remains

strong pushing forward capital values. The Bullrush Business Park adjacent to Junction 3 of

the M18, the Marrtree Business Park off Wheatley Hall Road and Sky Park adjacent to the main

terminal building to the Doncaster Sheffield Airport are either at or approaching full occupation

following recent lettings.

PPH Commercial has recently acted in the sale of Unit 5

Holmeroyd Business Park, Bentley Moor Lane, Carcroft Common

to Clark Motor Vehicle Conversions Ltd. The property comprise

The industrial market continues to be the most dominant sector throughout the region with occupational levels exceeding 95%.
