St Monica’s College, Epping is a vibrant coeducational<br />
community of students, staff and parents, which embodies the<br />
truths and values of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its structures,<br />
processes and styles of relating.<br />
We are a leader in the area of literacy and numeracy, committed<br />
to supporting all students in the development of these essential<br />
life skills.<br />
The College employs specialist staff with expertise in the<br />
education of highly able students, HORIZONS - Accelerated<br />
Learning Program: Arrunga - Year 8 inclusive Autistic<br />
Program; students with learning difficulties and integration<br />
programs. Our LOTE Learning Centre teaches Italian,<br />
French, Greek, Spanish and Japanese, and includes a bilingual<br />
immersion program (CLIL) in Italian. The College provides an<br />
extensive range of VCE offerings. VET and VCAL programs<br />
are offered on site and students have access to the VCAL<br />
Hub, a purpose-built facility. The College also has a strong<br />
commitment to the pastoral care of students, and incorporates<br />
a pastoral program in the curriculum at all levels. Five College<br />
Educational Psychologists are available to support students<br />
and parents.<br />
Our cocurricular programs are vast. The College is<br />
recognised as a leading sporting school locally, nationally and<br />
internationally. Debating and public speaking, extensive music<br />
and performing arts programs, and activities, such as chess and<br />
art clubs, flourish at the College.<br />
A multi-million dollar expansion program, Project Forward,<br />
ensures exceptional facilities are developed at the College.<br />
