Festheften der Folie vor dem Aufwickler
Pin the film before the winder
Statische Aufladung kann dazu genutzt werden, die Folie auf der
letzten Stahlwalze vor dem Aufwickler „festzuheften“. Dadurch
kann sich die Bahn nicht seitlich verschieben und auf der Rolle
verrutschen.
Dieselbe Methode wird bei der Gießfolienherstellung angewandt,
um ein Schrumpfen (oder „Einhalsen“) der Folie bei Berührung der
Kühlwalze zu verhindern. Es ist nicht notwendig, die gesamte Bahn
an der Walze „festzuheften“ – es reicht, wenn die Ränder haften.

Static electricity can be used to „pin” the film to the last steel roller
