UPSIDEDOWN was born in July 29th, 1997. The first skate was the Damocles, which already had lots
of interchangeable parts such as the cuffs, buckles, soulplates and frames. The ideology behind UPSI-
DEDOWN was to turn the industry upside down with new concepts, designs that would make it possible
for skaters to use parts from lots of other companies to customize their own personal skate.
In 1998 UPSIDEDOWN was renamed to USD, Universal Skate Design, a stronger name to represent
the worldwide influence of the company. The new name and image where the brainchild of Shane
Coburn and Arlo Eisenberg, who both joined USD to help promote the skates and run the design and
marketing side of the company. The team we recruited was amazing: Jon Julio, Josh Petty, Dustin Latimer,
and Champion Baumstimler. Without a doubt, one of the best teams that has ever been formed
within the Inline Skating industry. These and other skaters were welcomed to the „Terrordome“, which
was one of the first slogans and Tees from USD, designed by Shane and Arlo as a team.
Today USD Skates’ commitment to aggressive skating is stronger than ever, constantly innovating with
lighter, faster and enhanced performance skates and the help of its world class team of riders, has positioned
USD as the Nº1 inline skating brand with wide recognition from the public as the industry leader.

basics. The unibody concept defines this unique design, creating the lowest, lightest skate possible with unparalleled energy transfer in
every stride.One step back, two steps forward. With a single piece construction the weight is drastically reduced whilst the strength of the
boot is immensely increased, you’ll never snap a frame again. The unibody concept allows for the widest H-block split possible, making this
the best flat set up skate ever created, keeping you safe from wheel bite on all h-block tricks whilst still riding a full flat set up of 61mm
wheels. The skate is completed with the 2018 dual fit MYFIT Skinny Boy liners. The stretchy neoprene toes allow for 2 sizes to be catered

Another instant classic from USD is the AEON 80. The perfect hybrid of aggressive, freestyle and urban skating.
A simple concept that provides an exceptional function. The Aeon is a unibody skate, which means the boot, soulplate and frame is made
of a one piece construction. This results in less parts, lower weight and first and foremost a super low center of gravity with maximum
energy transfer. This gives you the ultimate control over every trick you make, weather it‘s a jump, a grind or a slide. The Aeon 80 comes
stock with a 4x80mm setup of Powerslide Spinner wheels and WCD ABEC 7 bearings. The skate is the perfect blend of aggressive and
urban skating, 80mm wheels coupled with such generous grinding space is not available anywhere else on the market. The skate also
features a MYFIT Skinny Boy liner, a soft, yet supportive liner that can be heat moulded to your foot providing exceptional comfort from the
very first use. It also comes as standard with a shock absorber, a MYFIT innersole and a 45° ratchet buckle that locks the heel in place to
further increase your control of the skate. The two way ‘rockerable‘ cuff, mounted by each ankle, wraps around the foot for maximum side
ways support on grinds and carves but still allowing great flex to the front for comfortable strides.

EVOLUTION.
This might be the year in which the infamous Xsjado brand faded away, but we won’t let the iconic
step-in skate fall into oblivion. Both brands join forces, speak with one voice, become one team and
focus all marketing efforts under one brand.
We present you the new USD Shadow model with the key features of XSJADO, but with some modifications
to fit into the high standards of quality and performance of USD.
• Totally reworked cuffs with over injected aluminium mounting plate, to give both cuffs (the one
piece and dual piece) more strength and structure.
• More simple construction with less parts and hardware.
• Walkable crossliner for more comfort and support and reduced volume.

The latest addition to the USD family comes in the form of the brand new Shadow skate. A rework on the very popular Xsjado skate
series, the design centres around an adjustable binding system similar to those found in the snowboarding world. A 45 degree wrap round
ratchet buckle system securely holds your instep in place whilst additional toe and shin buckles complete the mechanism. This models
has a new cuff fixation system with an overinjected aluminum plate inside the lower cuff to give more support and stability. As a result
also the perfromance is improoved and it will prevent any problems between the connection cuff, boot and frame, as the frame now is
directly connected to the cuff. The skate comes with our brand new USD/MYFIT collaboration, the walkable Eclipse crossliner. This skate
has all the working or a classic aggressive skate but with the additions of a convenient walkable liner. The skate comes complete with our
renowned Kizer Fluid frames, fast and longlasting USD 57mm wheels, anti rockers and Wicked ABEC 7 bearings, keeping you rolling fast
and grinding on all obstacles with ease.

Since joining USD a few years back Roman has always favored the USD VII skate so it was the obvious choice for his Pro model. Roman
reworked the VII design adding his own personal twist on this popular model. The glass fiber reinforced plastic is now covered with a PU
leather and real leather skin, creating additional support across the skate and softening the overall look of the skate. The skate comes
as standard with our premium liner, the MYFIT Roman Pro, a liner packed to the brim with features. The skate also comes stock with
