Awards Irish World Awards Cycle Safety Jacqueline was recognised for her commitment to cyclist safety in London at the 30th anniversary of The Irish World Awards. Jacqueline was presented with the award in recognition of her passion and drive to fundamentally improve road safety in the capital and championing the protection of cyclists and other vulnerable road users. Tip-Ex Tank Ex Tipper Haulier of the Year and Personality of the Year Not one, but two awards were presented at the annual Tip-Ex awards: Tipper Haulier of the Year and Personality of the Year for Jacqueline. 2017 FTA everywoman in Transport & Logistics awards Awarded to one individual only, male or female, who demonstrates the impact that they have had on attracting and retaining women in the industry, Jacqueline was thrilled to collect this award in recognition of determination to change and improve the industry and the development of those within it. The awards programme was first launched to raise awareness of the varied opportunities within transport and logistics, whilst creating visible role models to inspire and encourage more women to pursue a career in the industry. Maxine Benson, MBE and co-founder of everywoman commented “We are proud to recognise individuals who are transforming the industry through their tenacity, passion for innovation and commitment to mentoring the next generation”. Asda, as sponsors of the award said “It is important to support, recognise and celebrate exceptional female talent within this sector. We recognise that great leadership, role models and experience sits at the heart of every business to retain and attract talent.” Jacqueline said “I’m delighted to receive this award and would like to extend my thanks to everyone who made it possible.
