“In 2008 I qualified and graduated
with a B.Tech Optometry degree
from the University of Johannesburg
and began working part-time in one
of the largest optical laboratories in
the city. After this I embarked on student
optometric work at a prominent
practice gaining valuable practical
experience. When my professional
career kicked off I had the ability to
give patients professional and personalised
eye care.”

About me
“Growing up in Brackenhurst and attending Alberton High School,
I enjoyed life in the south and had a great group of friends.
I’d say I’m a collector of friends
and I’m still in close contact with all my school and varsity pals.
I have a close bond with my two younger brothers. My middle brother runs
his own trailer engineering and manufacturing business
and my youngest brother is currently in matric at St David’s in Inanda.
Family is important to me. I’ve been married for four and half years to my high
school sweetheart and best friend, Sheri. We haven’t begun
a family yet, but we are definitely in the ‘thinking about it stage’. Presently our
two dogs, a Jack Russell called Gunner and a mini dachshund named Poppy,
fill a little space in our lives but as much as we enjoy them, having children is
something we are both really looking forward to. We love travelling and try
to visit a different country each year, enjoying spending some valuable time
together. I enjoy a glass of good whisky and an occasional poker game with
friends, watching cooking shows on TV and then trying out the recipes. Other
than that I’d say I’m your regular kind of a guy, with a passion for life and looking
forward to making many more wonderful memories.
