New Hobart’s Lighthouse
Restaurant Opens on Stoney Lake

Hobart’s is pleased to announce the opening
of their third location, on Stoney Lake in
Harbour Town, McCracken’s Landing.
“We invite everyone to visit us by land or water to
experience exceptional food, atmosphere and service
in our casual dining restaurant,” says Wesley Found,
General Manager of Hobart’s.
They’re open all week, except Tuesdays, serving
brunch on the weekends and holiday Mondays, with
omelettes, Eggs Benedict, and waffles, lunch with
panini sandwiches, burgers and wraps, dinners with
meats, seafood, fish, vegetarian options and more.
Our goal at Hobart’s Lighthouse is to create a
community feeling where all are welcome - locals,
cottages and visitors alike,” continues Found. “We
like to describe the food as blending long-standing
traditions with new culinary trends, from comfort food
to upscale pub food. People can come in for a classic
burger and beer, or enjoy a celebratory meal with an
expensive bottle of wine and a high-quality steak.”
Passionate about his craft for more than three
decades, Executive Chef Scott Hudson has taught in
college culinary programs and worked in restaurants
across the country as far north as Nunavut. He and
his team create a fusion style of food, with a little bit
of everything – Italian, Asian, vegetarian, vegan, along
with the signature steaks that Hobart’s is known for.
“We’re fresh obsessed, sourcing high-quality
ingredients for all of our dishes, which are 100
percent made in-house,” says Hudson.
Chef Hudson adds that they like to create a “humble
table” relaxed atmosphere for their guests with the
best patio in town. Every table has a view overlooking
the lake.
Hobart’s Lighthouse is located at 2281 McCracken’s
Landing Rd, 1-705-652-0557 and is open for the
season until October 15. The other two locations are
139 Hunter Street West in Peterborough and 189 Kent
