From the Programme Editor Welcome all. Well I’ve had my break and as I wrote on a Facebook post it was nerve racking looking at footballwebpages and the Isthmian Live scores for updates on Saturday’s match, especially during the last 5 minutes or so! Still Johan did it again and I could enjoy the rest of my break. Great result on Tuesday too. Unfortunately I missed that match too after I didn't get home until gone 8.00Pm after a pre-planned family outing with the Grandchildren to the Tower of London. First of all I want to congratulate Chris Lynch for being voted manager of the week on Kentonline and also to Jason Fregene for making their team of the week. This is a bumper 36 page programme that includes another in the series on Match day programmes as well as two of Grant Wilbur’s look backs at old matches which I know are very popular. I’ve also included a list of all the Buildbase FA Trophy matches being played in this round. Just out of interest there are only five BetVictor Division 1 South East teams left in the competition, as well as ourselves they are Haywards Heath Town, Hastings Utd, Phoenix Sports, and Whitehawk. Plenty of information on our visitors this afternoon as well, with a comprehensive history of the club and a host of their player profiles. Talking of the programme I notice that the BetVictor Isthmian website nearly always features our e version of the programme and when it does it invariably heads the article with a picture of our Brickies welcome board. Congratulations to Chichester City who in our first year in our league have made the second round of the FA Cup, albeit by having a bye in the first round, however they already have 5 wins under their belt. Finally don’t forget the raffle today with proceeds going to one of our youth players, Charlie Taylor, who is battling a recurrence of Leukiamia. Prizes include a frame collage of Geoff Hurst kindly donated by Kent Stone Fabrication.
