He deals with it through simple practice and rehearsing as much as possible. “Yes, I think all of the actors have been through performance anxiety. Everyone has their bad days or in sports, it’s called off-night. If you had a bad performance in whatever it is you’re doing, it’s not fine, but acceptable. No one is perfect and always remember that it’s either a success or a lesson.” “If you happen to fail in a certain situation, use that failure to better yourself in that area. Think of ways on how to improve. Research and try it on your own. If you have to practice it, do it. So, if it’s time to showcase it again, you’ll be better and who knows, you’ll succeed.” Nikki usually researches about what he would want to know for his role. He, then, will try to improve the idea or provide a unique one to cater the audience. He tries to give himself time to prepare himself before a scene or a shoot to do his pre-performance rituals. “I usually give myself time to calm my mind and don’t think about anything 5-10mins before a scene. That’s because I believe that overthinking kills. Overthinking kills the emotion. In fact, he advocates for self-love. “Being consistent would catch my attention. Like always there to listen to me or shows me how much they care about me. This is without disregarding their own self. I don’t want them to just focus on me and not think about themselves. It’s important to love yourself first to share your love to that special someone.” No one is more important to Nikki than his MOM. She inspires him every single day to achieve his goals and dreams with everything he got. He continues to work hard as he lives in her example. “My biggest inspiration would be my mom. She is the epitome of hard work and selflessness. She gives me inspiration that you can achieve whatever it is you want to achieve with hard work and passion. Whether it is for yourself, your family or someone you love. I respect her for being that mom/dad everyone deserves to have.
