HER CRAFT<br />
Julie Anne can sing, play the guitar and<br />
piano, and even act. She’s a palette of<br />
talent that befits her title as Asia’s Pop<br />
Sweetheart.<br />
Although, she’s slowly shedding off that<br />
layer and showing her meticulously<br />
curated form. A sweetheart at heart,<br />
she’s become feisty and dedicated. With<br />
her 5th studio album in the works, she<br />
has more creative control on input.<br />
“There will be new music. It’s definitely<br />
on me. May mga collaborations din<br />
ako. It’s building up piece by piece. I’m<br />
writing it when I can, no rush but there’s<br />
pressure,” she exclaims.<br />
For someone who can do a lot, Julie<br />
Anne definitely knows how to impress.<br />
Her roots has always been ballad, but<br />
she’s done RnB and have even been<br />
praised for her rapping skills.<br />
“Hopefully, there’s rap. It takes longer<br />
for me to write that. But we’ll see. Hindi<br />
pa naman ako tapos sa album, hopefully<br />
before the year ends, ma-rerelease na<br />
‘yun. Or sooner,” she says with a smile.<br />
Aside from her singing and even acting<br />
career, Julie Anne has played with<br />
hosting, too. It’s a necessity to be able<br />
to connect with your audience more,<br />
and what better way to get into the<br />
thick of it all than being a host?<br />
She’s set to co-host the new season of<br />
The Clash on GMA-7 with Rayver Cruz.<br />
Definitely a project with big feet to fill<br />
in, Julie Anne will surely handle it like<br />
she does.<br />
