WHAT IS YOUR CABINET PAINTING PROCESS?<br />
First things first, we mask everything off that you don’t want to us to paint. The last thing<br />
we want is to cause a bunch of headaches by not doing the proper masking.<br />
Next, we create an opportunity for the primer to physically bond to the cabinet’s surface.<br />
To do this we start by sanding the cabinets with 220 grit sand paper.<br />
For the third step, we create an environment for chemical bonding. If there is any oils on<br />
the cabinets it needs to be cleaned properly otherwise the primer can’t make a chemical<br />
bond with the cabinet’s surface.<br />
To help ensure the primer and paints properly bond to the surface, we remove the gloss<br />
from the wood.
