A B O U T
The Murchison - Honaker House
The Murchison-Honaker House started as a four room home built in 1870 in the
town of Farmersville, TX. It was built by Rory Murchison as a wedding present to
his son who was to be wed to a Miss Like. Unfortunately, the son died before the
marriage could take place.
The house was then rented out until 1884 when Henry Dickenson Honaker and his
wife, Mary Bain, purchased the home. It was located directly across the street
from her mother, Anna Melissa Hick Bain. Four generations of the Honaker family
lived in the home until 1968.
"The city of Farmersville is truly a Texas treasure and we fell in love with it the minute
we drove down Main Street. It's rich history, preserved buildings, and proximity to the
Dallas Metroplex makes it a great destination or staycation to visit.We feel so honored

designer who takes jewelry to a higher
level of artistry. Boldly intermixing
color with texture, she uses semiprecious
stones, pearls, vintage beads
and other findings in all her designs.
She has been designing jewelry for
over 22 years. Her designs have been
featured in national magazines, worn
by celebrities, and sold in boutiques
throughout the United States.
Michele now focuses on designing oneof-a-kind
and limited edition pieces.
