Loughborough Student Rag
does outstanding things and I
am delighted to support their
endeavours in fundraising and
charitable support.
Year after year, throughout
my time at the University,
Loughborough students have
raised over £1 million pounds
for good causes.
This is a phenomenal sum
of money and as a result
Loughborough Students’
Union leads the country
in terms of the amount
raised. The support that
Loughborough Rag gives to
worthy organisations makes a
real difference to the lives of
many people.
Rag is about more than simply
raising money.
The projects that Rag runs
will give you the opportunity
to develop new skills and
make new friends. Whether
it is standing in tube stations
in London shaking a bucket
to raise money for the Poppy
VC BOB
Appeal or climbing Mount
Kilimanjaro, two examples
of Rag activities, your
contribution will not only
make a difference to the lives
of other people but you will
have a great time and make
an important contribution to
one of the things that makes
Loughborough University a
special place.
I wish Maz Di Felice and her
team every success. Everyone
