store, the property’s convenient location<br />
was a key factor that sealed the deal<br />
for Emma. “I knew I was going to<br />
work a lot, so the proximity was very<br />
important to me. I wanted to be near<br />
my kids and involve them in my project<br />
as much as possible. Every day after<br />
school they would pass by the shop,<br />
have a snack and then walk back home.<br />
I love the neighbourhood, everything is<br />
so accessible and you can simply walk or<br />
cycle – there’s no need for a car”.<br />
Currently living between Paris and<br />
Dubai, Emma attributes her French<br />
roots to her boho-chic-meets-rockchick<br />
aesthetic. “I don’t know how<br />
or why, but anyone who sees me<br />
instantly knows I’m French. As far as<br />
I remember I’ve always had a taste<br />
for decorations, it’s something that’s<br />
very important to me. Even when I<br />
was studying with no money in a small<br />
studio, I still wanted to feel really good<br />
in my space and create a creative vibe<br />
