Tribe Dubai (tribedubai.com), located in The Courtyard in Al Quoz, only uses biodegradable materials and avoids those obtained through deforestation. Plus, its products only feature all-natural dyes. Its founder Jo England lists bamboo and rattan as top sustainable choices. “Bamboo is one of the eco-friendliest products out there as it grows quickly and is ideal for furniture, bowls, plates and storage. A major cause of indoor air pollution is volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are emitted as gases from a variety of household products, such as paint, carpeting and laminated furniture. Keep a lid on it by getting an air purifier that’ll help to trap airborne pollutants and remove allergens from the air. Next, consider swapping chemical cleaning agents for eco-friendly alternatives.
