<strong>WATER</strong> <strong>BOTTLES</strong><br />
ARE KILLING<br />
OUR PLANET.<br />
Water is a natural resource everything alive needs for survival, yet we<br />
have made it a market in individually packaged containers that will sit on<br />
the Earth for generations to come. Though they are convinient at times,<br />
the mass amounts of plastic being produced (and thrown away after minimal<br />
time of usage) is having a large impact on global warming, occurring right<br />
now. The production of water bottles requires oil, gas, even more water<br />
than it takes to fill it, and space in landfills. It is estimated that by<br />
2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean by weight than fish and water<br />
bottles are a main contributer. Bottled water is significantly more<br />
expensive than filtered drinking water, yet yeilds the same quality.<br />
Purchasing what is already free but in single-use containers is both<br />
impractical and extremely damaging to our environment.
