pale copper tone.<br />

Simon Nash: Nice colour. Attractive<br />

lipstick nose. Quite soft. Palate a bit<br />

dilute on the finish. Sound though.<br />

Good weight.<br />

Matt Kirby: Nice watermelon/<br />

strawberry note. Nice acid balance.<br />

Raspberry cream.<br />

Barry Riwai: Wild strawberry, raspberry<br />

too. Dry, lean, creamy finish. Interesting<br />

bramble, rosehip finish.<br />

nose, dry but savoury, with grip.<br />

Good acids, good concentration, good<br />

length and nice berry lightness.<br />

Matt Kirby: Strong strawberry note.<br />

Palate has nice tension with some<br />

sweetness.<br />

Barry Riwai: Very pale, pink smokers’<br />

lollies and confection. Soft acidity and<br />

sweet spice, needs more acidity to give<br />

structure and focus.<br />

Simon Nash: Nice colour, bright,<br />

lively pink. Baked strawberry pie,<br />

ripe, warm, off-dry. Quite good berry,<br />

but light style. Sound.<br />

Matt Kirby: Dusty raspberry. Quite<br />

concentrated on the palate with lychee<br />

and guava notes.<br />

Barry Riwai: Medium pink, smoker’s<br />

lollies, clove spice. Slightly distracting<br />

grippiness to the palate.<br />
