The Abbots Bromley Horn Dance,
performed since August 1226, is one of
the few ritual rural customs to survive
the passage of time. Today the Horn
Dance, which takes place annually on
Wakes Monday, offers a fascinating day
out attracting visitors from all over the
world. Attractions during the day include
exhibitions, craft stalls.

with a twist with Staffordshire Wildlife
Trust. Come along and try new things
outdoors. You could swing in a hammock,
get mucky and make a mud pie, and sing
songs round the campfire, all in our exciting
outdoor classroom. All sessions include a
hot drink for adults, plus juice and snacks
for children. Activities occur whatever the
weather so please make sure you and your
little ones are suitably dressed. Children to

walk is an ideal way of learning more about
the history of the town, taking in landmarks

industrial tale of the development of the
