NEW GROUP FORMING<br />
Geoff Fabron is starting a New Group in ICE which will called The History Group. The first meeting will<br />
be on Monday 21st October at 8.00pm and will meet once a month.<br />
Geoff says “Basically I'm happy for the group to cover anything history related - political history,<br />
economic etc. My own interest is military history from the Greeks and Persians through to modern<br />
times (Vietnam/Falklands/Iraq). Those who turn up to the meetings/talks will decide what we will<br />
cover. If I'm the only one willing to make presentations, then it will be of a more military/war theme,<br />
but I will cover the political/economic/cultural drivers as well. “<br />
A REMINDER FROM THE TICKET LADIES<br />
Unfortunately, we are unable to reserve tickets for any of our events, which are often advertised<br />
well in advance of the actual date, but the tickets are unable to be printed ready for sale until all<br />
costings/details are finalised. If you are interested in a forthcoming event, but know that you are<br />
going to be away when the tickets are likely to go on sale, we suggest you ask a friend to<br />
purchase them for you in your absence. That way you are also able to choose your table<br />
companions, if applicable. We really don´t want anyone to miss out or be disappointed.<br />
