Approach to the Moody Mare: Behaviour, Gastrointestinal, Ovarian
and Musculoskeletal
21/11/2019
Newmarket,
Suffolk
This meeting is designed to give practical advice to equine
practitioners when faced with the complex problems associated
with mares. There is often a fine line between what is classified as
a behaviour, what is attributed to hormonal imbalances and what
is caused by gastrointestinal or musculoskeletal pain. This course
should give sufficient insight to allow equine vets to tease apart
the thorny issues of how much a “Moody Mare’s problems” are
caused by pain, behaviour and hormonal abnormalities.
Concise and relevant to our
everyday jobs.
Extremely interesting and
appropriate. A useful guide to
the approach of difficult cases.
I always find regional
meetings enjoyable
and well set up; this
was no different. A
good mix of topics and
informative speakers.
Very interesting, with
excellent speakers, the
atmosphere was relaxed
and allowed good
audience participation.
A very good spread of
topics with a lot of useful
follow-up references.
