Piccadilly Circus
One of the most iconic places in London is
the mesmerising Piccadilly Circus. Awash
with bright lights and animated adverts, this
central tourist hot spot has been the backdrop
for some of the most famous scenes in TV
and film. Get there at night time to really
make those digital displays pop.
London Eye
Featuring in the background of huge films
such as 28 Days Later and Harry Potter
and the Order of the Phoenix, the London
Eye is another solid London filming spot.
Built in 1999, the structure is perfect in the
background – but you can also film in its
pods too for panoramic shots of the city.
Trafalgar Square
Perhaps the most incredible use of the
world-famous Trafalgar Square is the mob
scenes at the pinnacle moment of 2005
film V for Vendetta. Marching through the
square, it’s instantly recognisable and the
perfect location
for such a scene.
Do your research
before heading to
film here though,
as there is a packed
calendar of events
always happening
in the Square.
Tower Bridge
Nothing screams London
quite like Tower Bridge.
Blockbuster filmmakers
have been using this
landmark for years to
signify our great city.
Whether it’s a panoramic
high angle shot or a street
scene with a stunning
backdrop – you can’t
go wrong with good old
Tower Bridge.
