Day of the Dead, or All Soul’s
Day, is celebrated in Mexico and
across other South American and
European countries to remember
and celebrate departed relatives.
Families use this day to reconnect
with loved ones by building private
altars called ofrendas. They also
bring possessions, gifts, favourite
foods and drinks to the graves of
their lost relations, for them to take
on their spiritual journey.
Chino Latino, with its South
American roots, will be honouring
Day of the Dead. From Friday 1st to
Sunday 3rd November, Chino Latino
will have a special menu which will
include a signature skull cheesecake
dessert. The pudding, created by
Executive Chef Werner Seebach, is
made from a white chocolate, yuzu
and raspberry skull-shaped mousse,
perched on top of a vanilla crunch.
