Urbanization at Ecological Park
The Urban Services and Environment and Works
and Public Roads Department, in partnership with the
Saae (Autonomous Water and Sewage Service) works in
the urbanization of the end of the Ecological Park, at
Rua Martinho Lutero, between Jardim Morada do Sol
and Jardim Paulistano. There are 15 thousand square
meters of pure leisure around three lakes, an official
soccer field with locker rooms, a multi-sports court, half
a basketball court in two places, playground, hiking
trail and bike path.
Investment in teaching environments
Indaiatuba has invested constantly in education.
EMEB is under construction in Cidade Nova II
Neighborhood, in an area of 2,809.87m². The space
will have 12 classrooms, which can accommodate 720
students in both periods. The project includes computer
rooms, reading, snack bar, cafeteria, secretariat, teachers
room, coordination, board, bathrooms, a covered court.
Investments are also being made in the construction
of a new nursery located in Parque Residencial Sabiás,
which will offer ten classrooms/nurseries, changing
rooms, restrooms, cafeteria, outdoor patio, recreation
area, secretariat, coordination room and elevator.
The municipality carries out other 15 works of
remodeling and expansion of the school units.
Last year the city completed the urbanizations of
Colinas I and Caminho da Luz, offering the population
new spaces for leisure and sports. The care with these
spaces is another mark of Indaiatuba. The maintenance
of Ecological Park is constant, as are the squares spread
all over the city. The highlight goes to the Prudente
de Moraes and Rui Barbosa squares that underwent
a revitalization in 2018 and had the bathrooms
remodeled. Also noteworthy is the cleanliness and care
of public gardens.
Citizen Point
The building of the former Bus Terminal, located on
Avenida Presidente Vargas, is undergoing renovation
to house Citizen Point. The space will bring together a
service center for public services, among them Procon,
PAT (Worker Assistance Station) and the Military
Board. The main objective is the comfort of the
population.
