Indaiatuba has infrastructure and support for 

enterprises in the most diverse branches of services, 

industry and commerce. Research conducted by Urban 

Systems and commissioned by EXAME magazine, 

points the city among the best in the country to do 

business. It is the second of the RMC (Metropolitan 

Region of Campinas) and the 14th in Brazil and this is 

just one of several national indexes where we appear 

with a positive highlight. To get an idea, the HDI 

(Human Development Index) is 0.788 while that of 

the state is 0.783. In addition, we ended 2018 as the 

second in the region with the highest employment rate. 

Here, the entrepreneur is supported by the Municipal 

Public Administration, which, in dealing with priority 

areas of the city such as Health, Education, Security, 

Housing, Urban Mobility and Infrastructure, ensures 

a conducive and safe environment for the development 

and quality of life of its employees and collaborators. 

The water supply is highlighted by the Capivari- 

Mirim Dam, which alone accounts for 1.3 billion 

liters and guarantees the development of the city 

for the next 30 year. The municipality also works 

to enable the construction of the Ribeirão Piraí 

regional dam. 

Indaiatuba possui infraestrutura e suporte para empreendimentos 

nos mais diversos ramos de serviços, indústria 

e comércio. Pesquisa realizada pela Urban Systems e encomendada 

pela Revista EXAME, aponta a cidade entre 

as melhores do país para se fazer negócios. É a segunda 

da RMC (Região Metropolitana de Campinas) e a 14ª no 

Brasil e esse é apenas um dos vários índices nacionais em 

que aparecemos com destaque positivo. Para se ter uma 

ideia, o IDH (Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano) é de 

0,788 enquanto o do Estado está em 0,783. Além disso, 

encerramos 2018 como a segunda da região com maior 

saldo de empregos. 

Aqui o empreendedor conta com suporte da Administração 

Pública Municipal, que ao tratar com atenção áreas 

prioritárias da cidade, como Saúde, Educação, Segurança, 

Habitação, Mobilidade Urbana e Infraestrutura, garante 

um ambiente propício e seguro para o desenvolvimento 

e qualidade de vida a seus funcionários e colaboradores. 

A oferta de água é um atrativo importante para investimentos. 

Destaque para a Barragem do Rio Capivari- 

-Mirim, que sozinha reúne 1,3 bilhão de litros e garante 

o desenvolvimento da cidade pelos próximos 30 anos. 

O município também trabalha para viabilizar a construção 

da barragem regional do Ribeirão Piraí.

This year, the city already has 17,389 businesses. 

There are 4,846 trades, 843 industries and 11,700 

service establishments. Between January and 

May 2019 alone, there were 1,302 new businesses 

established. The GDP is R$ 12.15 billion (2018) and 

an estimated population for 2018 by IBGE of 246,908 

inhabitants. Our exports grew 11.07% and the trade 

balance reached US$ 1.586 billion. 

These results are achieved due to the commitment 

of the private sector and the strategic planning 

carried out by the Municipal Government in the 

last 20 years. The studies for the next 10 years are 

accelerated and generate traces of perspectives and 

practical projections for the evolution of the city. The 

result could not be better. Quality of life in a city that 

develops without losing its countryside character and 

all the best it has.

as 155 cidades do país com mais de 100

R$28.900. O índice avaliou a governança 

pública dos municípios brasileiros a partir 

de três dimensões: finanças, gestão e desempenho, 

considerando dados de 2017. 

A cidade de Indaiatuba está entre as melhores cidades brasileiras para receber investimentos. 

Segundo pesquisa realizada pela Urban Systems, Indaiatuba é a 14ª melhor cidade do Brasil 

e a segunda melhor da RMC (Região Metropolitana de Campinas) em melhores oportunidades 

para se investir. O crescimento de Indaiatuba é extraordinário, subindo 15 posições em 

relação ao ranking anterior. O estudo analisou indicadores Sociodemográficos, Econômico, 

Saúde, Educação, Financeiro, Transporte e Infraestrutura. A cidade está a frente de capitais 

brasileiras como Recife (21ª), Florianópolis (24ª) e Natal (82ª).

Indaiatuba é líder na RMC 

em 12 de 17 rankings 

Em pesquisa realizada pelo Indsat (Indicadores 

de Satisfação do Serviço Público) Indaiatuba foi 

avaliada como a melhor cidade da Região Metropolitana 

de Campinas em 12 aspectos de um total 

de 17, sendo eles: administração pública, coleta 

de lixo, abastecimento de água,iluminação pública, 

limpeza pública, qualidade de vida, guarda 

municipal, segurança, cultura, transporte público, 

qualidade do asfalto e geração de emprego. 

Localização 

A cidade de Indaiatuba está localizada no 

Estado de São Paulo, distando aproximadamente 

102 Km da capital. Indaiatuba possui 

excelentes acessos rodoviários como a 

SP-075 (Rodovia Santos Dumont Km 66), 

Rodovia Bandeirantes, Castelo Branco entre 

outros. Uma outra vantagem é a proximidade 

com o Aeroporto de Viracopos, o que 

facilita os deslocamentos. 

O governo local 

Em último balanço divulgado pela prefeitura local, o governo se concentra 

em áreas como educação, incluindo a construção de novas escolas, 

manutenção das unidade existentes e investindo em formação continuada 

do corpo docente. Destaca-se, ainda, a ampliação dos cursos oferecidos 

pela FIEC (Fundação Indaiatubana de Educação e Cultura) com o intuito 

de promover a qualificação da mão de obra. O município também investe 

pesado na Saúde, na valorização dos servidores públicos, na informatização 

dos serviços públicos e em infraestrutura hídrica, de trânsito e de espaços 

de lazer, cultura e esportes. Outro foco da gestão é a segurança, com o 

aperfeiçoamento e ampliação do sistema de monitoramento e inteligência. 

Tudo isso, sem esquecer os projetos de incentivo à indústria e geração de 

emprego, o que inclui o relacionamento com câmaras de comércio exterior 

e órgãos de fomento.

Longevity, Income and Education 

A crucial aspect when choosing the city to 

undertake is certainly to analyze the factors that 

make this city an appropriate place to receive you, 

your business and your employees. Indaiatuba’s 

Human Development Index (IDHM) is 0.788 

(High), with highlight on Longevity, Income 

and Education. The city is among the 100 best 

IDHMs in Brazil according to data released by 

Atlas Brazil. 

Most well-managed municipality 

Indaiatuba is among the best managed cities in Brazil 

according to the CFA (Federal Administration Board) 

Index of Municipal Governance released on June 2019. 

The municipality obtained IGM 8.70, being the best 

evaluated among the 155 cities of the country with more 

than 100 thousand inhabitants and per capita income 

above R$ 28,900. The index evaluated the public 

governance of Brazilian municipalities from three 

dimensions: finance, management and performance, 

considering 2017 data. 

The city of Indaiatuba is among the best Brazilian cities to receive

Indaiatuba leads the RMC in 12 of 

17 rankings 

In a survey conducted by Indsat (Public Service

as the best city in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas in 

12 aspects out of a total of 17, being: public administration, 

garbage collection, water supply, public lighting, public 

cleanliness, quality of life, municipal guard, safety, culture, 

public transportation, asphalt quality and employment 

generation. 

Location 

The city of Indaiatuba is located in the State of São 

Paulo, approximately 102 km from the capital. Indaiatuba 

has excellent road accesses such as SP-075 (Rodovia 

Santos Dumont Km 66), Rodovia Bandeirantes, Castelo 

Branco and others. Another advantage is the proximity to 

Viracopos Airport, which makes traveling easier. 

Local Government 

In the latest balance sheet released by the local 

city hall, the government is focused on areas such 

as education, including building new schools, 

maintenance of existing units and investing in 

continuing education of the faculty. It is also worth 

mentioning the expansion of the courses offered by 

FIEC (Indaiatubana Foundation of Education 

and Culture) with the aim of promoting workforce 

qualification. The municipality also invests heavily 

in Health, in the valorization of public servants, 

in the computerization of public services and in 

water infrastructure, transit and leisure, culture 

and sports spaces. Another focus of management 

is security, with the improvement and expansion 

of the monitoring and intelligence system. All 

this, without forgetting the projects to encourage 

industry and generate employment, which includes 

the relationship with foreign chambers of commerce 

and development agencies.

Áreas Industriais e Terrenos podem ser 

acessados Online 

Para facilitar a busca pelas áreas e terrenos industriais, 

o poder público local disponibiliza plataforma 

própria. A ferramenta possibilita o cadastramento 

das áreas com o intuito de agilizar as tratativas entre 

as empresas e as imobiliárias, corretores de imóveis e 

pessoas físicas que possuem terrenos ou edificações 

para venda ou locação destinadas à instalação de empresas. 

A plataforma ajuda os investidores a encontrar as 

localidades que atendam aos requisitos relacionados a 

logística e infraestrutura, como água, esgoto, energia 

elétrica, gás, conexão rodoviária, zoneamento, entre 

outras, para a conclusão dos estudos de viabilidade 

dos investidores. O sistema também possui conexão 

com Investe SP (Agência Paulista de Promoção de 

Investimentos e Competitividade), divulgando Indaiatuba 

para os investidores interessados no Estado 

de São Paulo. 

Parcerias estratégicas para fomento do 

Comércio Exterior 

Com o objetivo de aumentar a interação e os negócios 

com a Itália, a prefeitura de Indaiatuba firmou 

parceria com a ITALCAM (Câmara Ítalo-Brasileira 

de Comércio Indústria e Agricultura). Foi desenvolvido 

um portal online onde os empresários de 

Indaiatuba podem: se cadastrar para oportunidades 

de negócios com a Itália, conferir a programação de 

eventos, feiras de negócios e notícias relacionadas. 

Também foram realizados eventos junto às Câmaras 

de Comércio Alemã e Americana para mostrar 

pontos da cidade com foco na atração de empresas 

e criação de oportunidades para internacionalização. 

Indaiatuba tem trabalhado fortemente para fomentar o ambiente de negócios no município. Atualmente 

a cidade conta com aproximadamente 850 empresas na área industrial, 4.900 comércios e mais de 

11.000 estabelecimentos de serviços em diversos segmentos. 

Infraestrutura é um outro ponto forte da cidade, Indaiatuba garantiu segurança hídrica para os próximos 

30 anos, com a construção da barragem do Rio Capivari-Mirim. É importante ressaltar que o 

município tem um bom relacionamento com os fornecedores de energia elétrica e telecomunicações para 

o fornecimento de internet. Esse acolhimento inicial faz toda a diferença e tem trazido muitos investimentos 

para a cidade, gerando, empregos, renda e oportunidades.

Comércio Exterior 

Dimpe II oportunidades para micro e 

pequenas empresas 

A Prefeitura há alguns anos criou o projeto Dimpe 

(Distrito Industrial de Micro e Pequenas Empresas) 

para ajudar micro e pequenos empresários a regularizarem 

a instalação de suas empresas. A ideia deu tão 

certo que recentemente foi criado o Dimpe II, com 

infraestrutura completa como asfalto, esgoto e água. 

O novo Distrito está localizado na Alameda Capovilla, 

no Bairro Pimenta. São 123 lotes a partir 

de 300 metros quadrados cada, que juntos somam 

a área de 42.251,95 metros quadrados. O valor do 

metro quadrado é mais acessível e a seleção para o 

projeto é realizada através de sorteios após aprovação 

de cadastro junto a prefeitura. 

2° Lugar na RMC de comércio exterior 

No ano passado Indaiatuba ocupou o 2° lugar na 

RMC (Região Metropolitana de Campinas) em relação 

ao comércio exterior. Foram instaladas na cidade 

120 empresas de importação e exportação. Em 2018 

Indaiatuba ficou em 71° colocado do país em exportações 

com total de US$ 723 milhões e 35° em importação 

com total de US$1,15 bilhão, nos rankings de 

exportação e importação. Os principais mercados para 

os produtos produzidos em Indaiatuba são Argentina 

com 46%, Estados Unidos com 11%, Chile 6,1%, 

Colômbia 5,9% e Peru 4,1%. Os que mais importaram 

foram o Japão com 28%, China 17%, Estados 

Unidos 13%, Alemanha 7,5% e México 4,5%. O 

PIB (Produto Interno Bruno) é de R$ 12,15 bilhões e 

o crescimento anual aproximado é 4%.

Juntos é possível criar uma sociedade com mais 

segurança, mobilidade e alegria 

aberto a crianças de escolas públicas e privadas 

do município, reproduz uma cidade com a intenção 

de transmitir conceitos de educação no trânsito. 

No local, os pequenos estudantes têm aulas 

práticas, usando motos elétricas de brinquedo. 

O CETH contribui também para a imagem do 

motociclista que participa de suas atividades. O 

Projeto Motociclista Legal arrecada de forma voluntária 

1kg de alimento não perecível dos participantes 

dos cursos e palestras realizados no mês 

e, ao final do período, todos os alimentos arrecadados 

são doados a instituições assistenciais da 

cidade.

garantir as condições para que os veículos sejam 

utilizados com segurança, ainda mais em cidades 

onde o trânsito intenso de automóveis, motocicletas 

e outros veículos pode impactar na segurança 

dos usuários e terceiros. Diante desse cenário, a 

Honda atua ativamente e promove atividades de 

conscientização em todos os continentes, realizando 

ações de acordo com as características e 

situações de tráfego de cada país. 

Desde o momento que iniciou as suas atividades 

no Brasil, há mais de 45 anos, a marca realiza ações 

itinerantes para promover a harmonia no trânsito. 

E para fortalecer ainda mais essa visão, foi inaugurado 

em 1998, o primeiro Centro Educacional de 

Trânsito Honda, na cidade de Indaiatuba (SP). 

A unidade é motivo de orgulho para toda a sociedade, 

porque além de ser referência em toda a 

América do Sul pelos cursos de pilotagem segura, 

sua área de aproximadamente 120.000 m² recebe 

diversas atividades para o público. 

Além das atividades de segurança no trânsito, o 

CETH de Indaiatuba oferece aos apaixonados por 

motos uma viagem no tempo com o Museu Honda 

Fan Club. Aberto todos os sábados das 9h às 

17h, apresenta a história das motos produzidas no 

Brasil pela Honda, desde a primeira CG 125 1976, 

e alguns modelos exclusivos do museu, como a 

CBR 1000RR Marc Marquez, a primeira moto de 

uma série de 93 unidades produzidas, sendo a 

única autografada pelo heptacampeão. 

A Honda acredita que a educação no trânsito começa 

na infância, e para contribuir com essa empreitada, 

foi criado o projeto “Clubinho Honda 

– Trânsito Amigo”. A iniciativa tem o objetivo de 

ensinar para as crianças a importância da boa convivência 

no trânsito entre pedestres, ciclistas, motoristas 

e motociclistas, de forma leve e divertida.

de Indaiatuba conta com a Cidade Mirim do Clubinho 

Honda em suas dependências. O espaço,

it is necessary to ensure the conditions for 

vehicles to be safely used, especially in 

cities where heavy traffic of cars, motorcycles

acts and promotes awareness activities on all 

continents, taking actions according to the 

characteristics and traffic situations of each

From the moment it began its activities in 

Brazil, more than 45 years ago, the brand 

has carried out itinerant actions to promote 

safety traffic. To strengthen this vision, the 

first Honda Traffic Education Center (CETH in 

Brazilian Portuguese) was inaugurated in 1998 

in the city of Indaiatuba (SP). 

The unit is a source of pride for the whole 

society, because in addition to being a 

reference throughout South America for safe 

driving courses, its area of approximately 

120,000 m² receives various activities for the 

public in general. 

In addition to traffic safety activities, Indaiatuba 

CETH offers motorcycle enthusiasts a time 

travel with the Honda Fan Club Museum. 

Open every Saturday from 9am to 5pm, it 

features the history of Honda-produced bikes 

in Brazil since the first CG 125 1976, and some 

exclusive museum models such as the CBR 

1000RR Marc Marquez, the first bike in a 93- 

unit production, the only one autographed by 

the seven times champion pilot. 

Honda believes that traffic education begins in 

childhood, and to contribute to this endeavor, 

the project “Clubinho Honda - Friendly Traffic” 

was created. The initiative aims to teach 

children the importance of good coexistence 

in traffic among pedestrians, cyclists, drivers 

and motorcyclists, in a fun way.

Distribution Center, which values excellence in 

customer service and offers a solid distribution 

structure, enabling the agile service to more 

than 1,100 points of sale throughout Brazil.

since 2012, more than 220 direct and indirect 

employees work at the site and are responsible

Indaiatuba has worked hard to foster the business 

environment in the municipality. Currently, the city 

has approximately 850 companies in the industrial 

area, 4,900 businesses and more than 11,000 service 

establishments in various segments. 

Infrastructure is another strong point of the city, 

Indaiatuba has guaranteed water security for the 

next 30 years, with the construction of the Capivari- 

Mirim River dam. It is important to emphasize that 

the municipality has a good relationship with electricity 

and telecommunications providers for the provision of 

internet. This initial welcome makes all the difference 

and has brought many investments into the city, 

generating jobs, income and opportunities. 

Industrial Areas and Land 

can be accessed online 

To facilitate the search for industrial areas and 

lands, local government has its own platform. The tool 

makes it possible to register the areas in order to speed 

up the negotiations between companies and real estate 

agents, real estate brokers and individuals who have 

land or buildings for sale or lease for the installation of 

companies. 

The platform helps investors find the locations 

that meet the requirements related to logistics and 

infrastructure, such as water, sewage, electricity, gas, road 

connection, zoning, among others, to complete investor 

feasibility studies. The system also has a connection with 

Investe SP (Paulista Agency for Investment Promotion 

and Competitiveness), announcing Indaiatuba to 

interested investors in the State of São Paulo. 

Strategic partnerships 

to foster Foreign Trade 

In order to increase interaction and business with Italy, 

Indaiatuba City Hall has partnered with ITALCAM 

(Italian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry). 

An online portal was developed where entrepreneurs 

from Indaiatuba can: register for business opportunities 

with Italy, check the schedule of events, trade fairs and 

related news. Events were also held with the German and 

American Chambers of Commerce to show points of the 

city with a focus on attracting companies and creating 

opportunities for internationalization. 

Dimpe II opportunities for micro 

and small businesses 

City Hall has created, a few years ago, the Dimpe 

(Micro and Small Business Industrial District) project 

to help small and micro entrepreneurs regularize the 

installation of their companies. The idea was so certain 

that Dimpe II was recently created, with complete 

infrastructure such as asphalt, sewage and water. 

The new District is located at Alameda Capovilla, 

in the Pimenta neighborhood. There are 123 lots from 

300 square meters each, which together total the area of 

42,251.95 square meters. The value of the square meter 

is more accessible and the selection for the project is 

carried out through lottery after approval of the registry 

with City Hall. 

2nd place in foreign trade at RMC 

Last year Indaiatuba occupied the 2nd place in the 

RMC (Metropolitan Region of Campinas) in relation 

to foreign trade. 120 import and export companies were 

installed in the city. In 2018, Indaiatuba ranked 71st 

in the country in exports totaling US$ 723 million 

and 35% in imports, with a total of US$ 1.15 billion 

in export and import rankings. The main markets for 

the products produced in Indaiatuba are Argentina 

with 46%, the United States with 11%, Chile 6.1%, 

Colombia 5.9% and Peru 4.1%. The most important 

were Japan with 28%, China 17%, United States 

13%, Germany 7.5% and Mexico 4.5%. GDP 

(Domestic Product Bruno) is R $ 12.15 billion and the 

approximate annual growth is 4%.

fazer a reposição diária ou semanal de suas vendas 

sem a necessidade de compras para longos períodos. 

Em construção desde junho, a loja Assaí em 

Indaiatuba funcionará na Avenida Francisco 

de Paula Leite, nº 2242, no Parque das Nações. 

Um dos diferenciais do Assaí Atacadista é a sua política de dois preços, 

que atende às necessidades dos diferentes perfis de clientes que frequentam 

as lojas da rede. A política permite ao cliente adquirir desde caixas 

fechadas de determinado produto até uma única unidade, sem deixar de 

aproveitar os preços competitivos que a rede oferece. 

Além disso, o Assaí disponibiliza o seu cartão de crédito próprio, o Passaí, que 

permite a qualquer cliente pagar o preço do atacado, mesmo comprando uma única

Lançado no fim de 2017, o Passaí já ultrapassou a marca de 700 mil cartões emitidos

em consideração conceitos de ecoeficiência. 

A unidade em Indaiatuba, por exemplo, contará 

com iluminação 100% em LED e fachada de 

vidro, iniciativas que garantem uma experiência 

de compra mais agradável aos clientes e reduzem 

o consumo de energia elétrica. 

Para o público em geral, a loja oferecerá, 

ainda, coletores de pilhas e baterias. 

O Assaí nasceu na cidade de São Paulo, em 1974, 

com foco no abastecimento de revendedores 

e do pequeno transformador (pizzaiolos, 

dogueiros, pasteleiros, donos de lanchonetes e 

restaurantes). Em 2007, a rede passou a fazer 

parte do Grupo GPA, onde, em 2012, ganhou novo

Soon, Indaiatuba will hold an Assaí Atacadista store, the first in the city. Offering quality and 

low price every day. 

The opening will take place at an important moment for the chain, which has maintained 

its accelerated pace of expansion throughout Brazil (in 2018, there were 18 openings, 

generating employment and income to the country). Assaí is today the fastest growing 

cash and carry chain in Brazil. In Indaiatuba, the opening will result in more than 500 

job positions, between direct and indirect ones, and already heats the local economy up. 

“Indaiatuba is today a recognized industrial center and a city with a high degree of 

development in health, education and quality of life. It was essential to us to be 

part of this history and contribute to the continuous advance of the municipality. 

We will bring a modern store with quality products and services, in addition to 

competitive prices every day”, says Belmiro Gomes, CEO of Assaí Atacadista. 

Assaí’s unit in Indaiatuba will offer more than 7,000 items, including food 

and beverages, toiletries and cleaning, bazaar, car and pets’ products, as 

well as disposables and packaging, of major national and imported brands. 

Designed to meet processers, resellers, users and end consumers, 

the store will feature a modern layout that highlights the industry’s 

launches, while facilitating the search for the most consumed items 

by entrepreneurs. 

For entrepreneurs, small and medium resellers and customers, 

the Assaí store will also offer additional services, such as the 

exclusive cashier for companies. The service will be available 

because the chain is intended to be a place where the small 

trader can make the daily or weekly replacement of his 

sales without the need for purchases for long periods. 

Under construction since June, the Assaí store in 

Indaiatuba will operate at Avenida Francisco de 

Paula Leite, No. 2242, in Parque das Nações. 

One of Assaí Atacadista differentials is its two-price policy, which meets 

the needs of the different customers’ profiles that visit the chain stores. 

The policy allows the customer to purchase from closed boxes and pallets 

of a given product to a single unit, while taking advantage of the competitive 

prices offered by the chain. 

In addition, Assaí offers its own credit card, Passaí, which allows any customer 

to pay the wholesale price, even if buying a single unit of a product. The benefit 

is unprecedented in the wholesale cash and carry segment. Launched in the end 

of 2017, Passaí has already surpassed 700,000 issued cards and accounts for 5% 

of total sale of the chain, reaching 10% in some stores. 

In order to offer even more convenience and practicality, the chain stores accept different 

payment forms, such as debit and credit cards from the main brands, money, check and food 

vouchers.

Assaí Atacadista stores are built taking into 

account concepts of ecoefficiency. The unit 

in Indaiatuba, for example, will have 100% 

LED lighting and glass facade, initiatives 

that guarantee a more pleasant shopping

The store will also offer battery collectors. 

Assaí was born in the city of São Paulo in 1974, 

focusing on the supply of resellers and the 

small food entrepreneurs (pizza makers, 

hot-dog sellers, pastry makers, cafeteria and

part of the GPA Group, where in 2012 it gained a 

new format and began its accelerated expansion 

plan, going from 61 to more than 150 stores 

in all regions of the country. More than 260 million

aprendem na prática habilidades para o gerenciamento

To meet the demand for the city’s workforce, FIEC 

works in partnership with municipal companies,

of: hydraulic, pneumatics, metrology, and Software:

setting. Skills are also stimulated for making decisions, developing creative 

solutions to problem solving. One of the final tasks is to develop a business 

plan for the student to implement their project or idea.

survey conducted throughout the Metropolitan Region of Campinas, Indaiatuba

ganha nova sala de cirurgia 

Indaiatuba possui UTI Pediátrica 

Indaiatuba deu um importante passo no cuidado 

com as crianças. Esse ano a cidade inaugurou a UTI 

(Unidade de Terapia Intensiva) Pediátrica. Das 42 cidades 

que fazem parte da DRS VII (Departamento 

Regional de Saúde de Campinas) Indaiatuba é a 5ª 

cidade a ter a UTI Pediátrica. A prefeitura liberou 

R$ 441.633,11 para a aquisição de equipamentos e 

mobiliários para a UTI. O município oferece, ainda, 

dez leitos de UTI Neonatal e 23 leitos para adultos. 

Prefeitura possui plano ousado 

de investimentos para 

melhorar a Saúde 

Ampliação do Haoc 

(Hospital Augusto de Oliveira Camargo) 

Construção de 76 novos quartos e uma UTI. O 

novo prédio terá 7.500 m² de área total, divididos 

em cinco pavimentos de 1.500m² cada, totalizando 

210 novos leitos. 

Para garantir maior conforto à população de Indaiatuba 

nos tratamentos cirúrgicos, o Centro Cirúrgico 

do Hospital Dia “Dr. Renato Riggio Jr” está 

sendo reformulado e ampliado. A iniciativa é fruto 

de uma parceria entre a prefeitura e a Associação das 

Empresas de Serviços Contábeis de Indaiatuba (Aesci) 

por meio do projeto “Contador Solidário” 

O projeto prevê o acréscimo de mais uma sala de 

cirurgia em uma nova ala que contará com área de 

espera pré-operatório separado por sexo e com sanitários 

masculino e feminino. Com a ampliação haverá 

aumento no número de atendimentos de 300 para 

450 pacientes mensais. No total serão três salas de cirurgia 

completas, além de reestruturação do quadro 

médico e de enfermagem para atender a população.

Saúde em Ação 

Foram construídas duas UBSs com recursos provenientes do Governo 

do Estado e do BID (Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento). Cada 

unidade recebeu cerca de R$ 3 milhões de investimentos e a estimativa é 

que cada uma realize cerca de 180 atendimentos diários. A UBS do Jardim 

Camargo Andrade já está em funcionamento e a do Jardim das Maritacas 

será ativada no segundo semestre. 

CEO II 

A Prefeitura reformou e ampliou as instalações do Centro Odontológico que funcionava 

no antigo Mini Hospital, no Jardim Morada do Sol, para a instalação da 

segunda unidade do CEO (Centro de Especialidades Odontológicas). A recepção foi 

ampliada, trocaram os revestimentos cerâmicos, reformaram a parte hidráulica e elétrica 

e fizeram melhorias nas salas de atendimento. 

Em 2018 o atendimento odontológico do município somou 36.803 consultas e 

278.004 procedimentos individuais, além de 161.738 ações de prevenção em saúde 

bucal. Também foram entregues 1.000 próteses dentárias.

Day Hospital 

gets new operating room 

Indaiatuba has a Pediatric ICU 

Indaiatuba took an important step in caring for the 

children. This year the city inaugurated the Pediatric 

ICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). Of the 42 

cities that are part of the DRS VII (Regional Health 

Department of Campinas) Indaiatuba is the 5th city 

to have the Pediatric ICU. The municipality released 

R $ 441,633.11 for the acquisition of equipment and 

furniture for the ICU. The municipality also offers ten 

beds of Neonatal ICU and 23 beds for adults. 

Health in Action 

Two UBSs were built with funds from the State 

Government and the Inter-American Development 

Bank. Each unit received approximately R $ 3 million 

of investments and the estimate is that each one will 

perform about 180 daily calls. UBS of Jardim Camargo 

Andrade is already in operation and the Jardim das 

Maritacas will be activated in the second semester. 

City Hall has bold investment plan to 

improve health 

Expansion of Haoc Hospital (Augusto de Oliveira 

Camargo Hospital) 

Construction of 76 new rooms and an ICU. The new 

building will have 7,500 m² of total area, divided into 

five floors of 1,500sqm each, totaling 210 new beds.

City Hall renovated and expanded the facilities of 

the Dental Center that operated in the former Mini 

Hospital, in Jardim Morada do Sol, for the installation 

of the second unit of the CEO (Center for Dental 

Specialties). The reception was expanded, replaced the 

ceramic tiles, reformed the hydraulic and electrical part 

and made improvements in the service rooms.

To guarantee greater comfort to the population of

a partnership between city hall and the Association of 

Accountancy Companies of Indaiatuba (Aesci) through 

the project “Contador Solidário” 

The project provides for the addition of one more 

operating room in a new ward that will have a 

preoperative waiting area separated by sex and with 

men’s and women’s toilets. With the expansion, there 

will be an increase in the number of patients from 300 

to 450 patients per month. In total there will be three 

complete operating rooms, in addition to restructuring 

the medical and nursing staff to serve the population.

Indaiatuba terá residencia inclusiva 

Está em fase final de construção a Residência Inclusiva 

no Distrito Empresarial Bartolomai. Com recursos 

próprios do município, a Residência Inclusiva 

foi pensada com a finalidade de prover o acolhimento 

de pessoas, jovens e adultos com deficiência em 

situação de dependência, que ficaram órfãos e não 

têm condições de viverem sozinhos. De acordo com 

o projeto arquitetônico da Secretaria Municipal de 

Planejamento Urbano e Engenharia, o prédio terá 

405m² de área construída. Serão 20 vagas no total, 

sendo 10 vagas para homens e 10 para mulheres, em 

dependências separadas contendo cinco dormitórios 

duplos, três banheiros e uma sala de estar em cada 

uma delas. A cozinha, lavanderia, refeitório e varanda 

serão de uso compartilhado.

Income Generation 

Good Living Space offers activities 

for the best age 

The Good Living Space “Mário Jacinto da Silva”, 

is intended to serve the population over 55 years. In 

this space there are many activities and Funssol offers 

workshops: Macramê, Embroidery, Abstraction and 

Perception (spatula over canvas), Truffle and Honey 

Bread, Chocotone, Sweet and salty Panettone and Sweet 

and salty pies. There are also workshops of Theater, 

Poetry and Mandala offered in partnership with the 

Culture Secretariat. 

Day and Permanence Center, 

the “Elderly Daycare” 

The Day and Permanence Center “José Theodoro 

Dias”, inaugurated last year, has the capacity to serve 

50 elderly people for stay and activities during the day 

and another 48 elderly people in a housing regime. The 

center has a multifunctional salon, accessible toilets and 

bathrooms, as well as a room for rest, reception with 

waiting room, nursing, laundry, outpatient clinic, 

a room for individual and family care; locker rooms; 

laundry; kitchen, pantry and dining room; balcony; 

garden and ecumenical space. 

Indaiatuba will have an 

Inclusive Residence 

The Inclusive Residence in the Bartolomai Business 

District is in the final stages of construction. With the 

municipality’s own resources, the Inclusive Residence 

was designed with the purpose of providing the reception 

of people, young people and adults with disabilities in a 

situation of dependency, who were orphaned and unable 

to live alone. According to the architectural design of 

the Municipal Department of Urban Planning and 

Engineering, the building will have 405sqm of built 

area. There will be 20 places in total, 10 places for men 

and 10 places for women, in separate rooms containing 

five double bedrooms, three bathrooms and a living 

room in each one. The kitchen, laundry, dining room 

and balcony will be of shared use. 

Funssol (Social Solidarity Fund) of Indaiatuba 

acts on several fronts to promote opportunities. 

Courses are offered for income generation through the 

Handmade Bakery and Enchanted Scissors projects. 

At Handmade Bakery students learn to prepare 

breads, pastries, cakes and savory. In the Enchanted 

Scissors, they have sewing lessons, step by step, creative 

stitching and beginner patchwork. Both projects aim 

to empower the population to undertake and have 

instruments to earn income to support their families. 

In 2018 the Project Generation of Income formed 59 

classes with 762 students.

Espaços públicos 

Ponto Cidadão 

O prédio do antigo Terminal Rodoviário, localizado 

na avenida Presidente Vargas, está em 

reforma para abrigar o Ponto Cidadão. O espaço 

reunirá uma central de atendimento de serviços 

públicos, entre eles o Procon, PAT (Posto de 

Atendimento ao Trabalhador) e a Junta Militar. 

O principal objetivo é a comodidade e conforto 

da população. 

Urbanização no Parque Ecológico 

A Secretaria de Serviços Urbanos e Meio Ambiente e 

de Obras e Vias Públicas, em parceria com o Saae (Serviço 

Autônomo de Água e Esgotos) trabalha na urbanização 

do final do Parque Ecológico, na Rua Martinho 

Lutero, entre o Jardim Morada do Sol e o Jardim Paulistano. 

São 15 mil metros quadrados de puro lazer ao 

redor de três lagos, um campo de futebol oficial com 

vestiários, uma quadra poliesportiva, meia quadra de 

basquete em dois locais, playground, pista de caminhada 

e ciclovia. 

No ano passado a cidade concluiu as urbanizações do Colinas I e do 

Caminho da Luz, oferecendo à população novos espaços para o lazer e a 

prática esportiva. O cuidado com esses espaços é outra marca de Indaiatuba. 

A manutenção do Parque Ecológico é constante, assim como as praças 

espalhadas por todas as regiões da cidade. O destaque vai para as Praças 

Prudente de Moraes e Rui Barbosa que passaram por uma revitalização em 

2018 e tiveram os banheiros reformados. Destaque, também, para a limpeza 

e os cuidados com os jardins públicos.

Investimento nos ambientes de ensino 

Indaiatuba tem investido constantemente na educação. Está em construção a 

EMEB no Bairro Cidade Nova II, em uma área de 2.809,87m². O espaço terá 12 

salas de aulas, podendo acomodar 720 alunos nos dois períodos. O projeto prevê 

salas de informática, leitura, cantina, refeitório, secretaria, sala de professores, 

coordenação, diretoria, banheiros, uma quadra coberta. 

Também são realizados investimentos na construção de uma nova creche localizada 

no Parque Residencial Sabiás, que oferecerá dez salas de aula/berçários, trocador, 

banheiros nas salas, refeitório, pátio descoberto, área de recreação, secretaria, 

sala de coordenação e elevador. 

O município dá andamento à outras 12 obras de reforma 

e de ampliação das unidades escolares.

Urbanization at Ecological Park 

The Urban Services and Environment and Works 

and Public Roads Department, in partnership with the 

Saae (Autonomous Water and Sewage Service) works in 

the urbanization of the end of the Ecological Park, at 

Rua Martinho Lutero, between Jardim Morada do Sol 

and Jardim Paulistano. There are 15 thousand square 

meters of pure leisure around three lakes, an official 

soccer field with locker rooms, a multi-sports court, half 

a basketball court in two places, playground, hiking 

trail and bike path. 

Investment in teaching environments 

Indaiatuba has invested constantly in education. 

EMEB is under construction in Cidade Nova II 

Neighborhood, in an area of 2,809.87m². The space 

will have 12 classrooms, which can accommodate 720

remodeled. Also noteworthy is the cleanliness and care 

of public gardens. 

Citizen Point 

The building of the former Bus Terminal, located on 

Avenida Presidente Vargas, is undergoing renovation 

to house Citizen Point. The space will bring together a 

service center for public services, among them Procon, 

PAT (Worker Assistance Station) and the Military 

Board. The main objective is the comfort of the 

population.

Parque da Criança 

Ecopontos subterrâneos 

Indaiatuba inova na coleta de materiais recicláveis, que em 

algumas regiões da cidade já é realizada em Ecopontos subterrâneos. 

O novo modelo de containers soterrados substituem 

o sistema tradicional com eficiência. Os containers são 

equipados com um sistema de sonda que envia uma mensagem 

quando os tanques atingem o limite de armazenagem. O 

novo sistema de coleta também inibe invasões e vandalismo 

contribuindo para a zeladoria do local. 

O Parque da Criança é um excelente espaço gratuito 

criado pela prefeitura de Indaiatuba para a promoção 

do lazer. Numa área de 3.501 m² dentro do 

Parque Ecológico funciona um espaço exclusivo com 

Parque Aquático que oferece atrações como toboágua, 

piscinas, escorregadores com formatos de animais, 

cachoeira com balde gigante, chuveirões em 

formato de cogumelos, bengala e esguichos de água 

por todos os lados. O Parque conta com banheiros, 

vestiários, guarda-volumes, espaços para recreação 

como: playground seco, quiosques com mesas e 

bancos para piquenique, tirolesa. Ao lado também 

é possível se divertir no Parque Temático, que tem 

um playground diferenciado em formato de animais 

e pedalinho.

Interação com o Meio Ambiente 

Proteção Animal 

Ainda é muito comum no Brasil casos de animais que sofrem maus tratos ou que são abandonados 

na rua. Em Indaiatuba o CRA (Centro de Reabilitação Animal) é o órgão responsável 

por prestar os primeiros cuidados. No ano passado o CRA realizou 6.048 cirurgias de castrações. 

Foram recolhidos 279 animais e realizadas 267 doações de cães e gatos. O órgão surgiu 

com a missão de recolher animais machucados que apresentam risco à população, filhotes 

abandonados e cadelas que estejam esperando filhotes. Os animais recebem os cuidados necessários 

e são encaminhados para novos lares. 

A prefeitura também possui parceria com a Associação Mata Ciliar que resultou no resgate 

de 132 animais silvestres no município em 2018. Esses animais foram encaminhados aos 

CRAS (Centro de Reabilitação de Animais Selvagens), que é mantido pela Associação, onde 

recebem o tratamento necessário de profissionais habilitados e são posteriormente encaminhados 

à natureza.

Children’s Park 

Children’s Park is an excellent free space created by the Indaiatuba City Hall for the 

promotion of leisure. In an area of 3,501 m² within the Ecological Park, there is an 

exclusive area with Water Park that offers attractions such as a water slide, swimming 

pools, animal shaped slides, waterfall with giant bucket, mushroom shaped showers, cane 

and water spouts on all sides. The park has bathrooms, locker rooms, luggage storage, 

recreation spaces such as: dry playground, kiosks with tables and benches for picnic, zip 

line. Beside it, it is also possible to have fun in the theme park, which has a differentiated 

playground in animal shape and pedal boat. 

Underground Ecopoints 

Indaiatuba innovates in the collection of recyclable materials, 

which in some regions of the city is already carried out in 

underground Ecopoints. The new buried container model 

effectively replaces the traditional system. The containers are 

equipped with a probe system that sends a message when the tanks 

reach the storage limit. The new collection system also inhibits 

intrusion and vandalism contributing to the site janitorial. 

Animal Protection 

It is still very common in Brazil 

cases of animals that suffer abuse 

or are abandoned on the street. 

In Indaiatuba the CRA (Animal 

Rehabilitation Center) is the body 

responsible for providing the first 

care. Last year CRA performed 

6,048 sterilization surgeries. 

279 animals were collected and

were carried out. The agency has 

come up with a mission to collect 

injured animals that pose risks 

to the population, abandoned 

puppies and bitches waiting for 

puppies. The animals receive the 

necessary care and are sent to new

Tecnologia e Integração Regional na 

promoção da Segurança 

Em Indaiatuba o sistema de segurança pública é 

bem integrado pelo uso de tecnologia. Indaiatuba 

possui o COI (Centro de Operações e Inteligência), 

que possibilita às autoridades de segurança monitorarem 

em tempo real as câmeras de segurança da 

cidade. Segundo dados divulgados pela Assessoria 

de Imprensa da Prefeitura, o COI monitora por dia 

cerca de 530 mil veículos que circulam pela cidade 

e tem mais de 405 milhões de passagens registradas. 

A CRIM (Central Regional de Inteligência e 

Monitoramento) integra as informações obtidas 

em tempo real com as Guardas Civis de 23 cidades 

parceiras. A CRIM registra mais de 2,5 milhões de 

passagens veiculares por dia e desde sua criação solucionou 

mais de 400 casos regionais em 2018. Todas 

essas medidas fazem Indaiatuba sair na frente quando 

o assunto é Segurança. 

Programa Cidade Mais Segura 

Umas das estratégias adotadas pelo poder público 

local para manter a população de Indaiatuba cada 

vez mais segura trata-se do programa “Cidade Mais 

Segura”. O programa consiste num plano de ação 

da Secretaria Municipal de Segurança Pública composto 

pelas operações: Folha de Pagamento, Via Estreita, 

Sossego nas Ruas, Viver e Cerol. Entre outras 

iniciativas estão acontecendo fiscalização no trânsito, 

ações para coibir a perturbação do sossego, combate 

ao tráfico de drogas, segurança nas áreas bancárias 

em época de pagamento e fiscalização contra o cerol. 

Os assuntos de Segurança em Indaiatuba recebem atenção total, e o resultado 

pode ser visto nos baixos índices de criminalidade em 2018. Indaiatuba 

foi apontada como uma das cidades mais seguras da Região Metropolitana de 

Campinas. A taxa por cem mil habitantes de Indaiatuba para furto e roubo 

de veículos foi de 41,32, enquanto na RMC (Região Metropolitana de Campinas) 

foi de 313,15, e no Estado de São Paulo é 258,45. Segundo dados do 

Instituto Sou da Paz no aspecto ‘Satisfação em Segurança Pública’, Indaiatuba 

ficou entre as 10 cidades menos violentas do Estado de São Paulo, em 2018.

In Indaiatuba the public security system is well 

integrated by the use of technology. Indaiatuba has 

the COI (Operations and Intelligence Center), which 

allows security authorities to monitor the city’s security 

cameras in real time. According to data released by the 

Press Office of the City Hall, COI monitors about 530 

thousand vehicles circulating around 

the city and has more than 405 

million tickets registered. 

CRIM (Regional Intelligence 

and Monitoring Center) integrates 

information obtained in real time 

with the Civil Guards of 23 partner 

cities. CRIM registers more than 2.5 

million vehicle passes per day and 

since its inception has solved more 

than 400 regional cases in 2018. All 

these measures make Indaiatuba come 

out ahead when it comes to safety. 

Security issues in Indaiatuba receive full attention, and the result 

can be seen in low crime rates in 2018. Indaiatuba was named one 

of the safest cities in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas. The rate 

for a hundred thousand inhabitants of Indaiatuba for theft and theft 

of vehicles was 41.32, while in the RMC (Metropolitan Region of 

Campinas) it was 313.15, and in the State of São Paulo it is 258.45. 

According to data from the Sou da Paz Institute in the ‘Satisfaction in 

Public Safety’ aspect, Indaiatuba was among the 10 least violent cities 

in the State of São Paulo in 2018. 

Safer City Program 

One of the strategies adopted 

by the local government to keep 

the population of Indaiatuba 

increasingly safe is the “Safer City” 

program. The program consists of 

a plan of action of the Municipal 

Secretariat of Public Security 

composed by the operations: Payroll, 

Narrow Way, Sossego na Ruas, Viver 

and Cerol. Among other initiatives 

are traffic control, actions to curb 

the disturbance of the peace, fight 

against drug trafficking, security in 

the banking areas in payment periods 

and inspection against kite fighting.

incentiva o Esporte 

Indaiatuba é uma cidade que oferece muitas oportunidades para que sua 

população possa praticar esportes. Com um clima invejável marcado por 

temperaturas elevadas e abundância de água, o município oferece excelentes 

condições para a prática de esportes ao ar livre. 

Visando democratizar o acesso da população a prática esportiva e melhora 

da qualidade de vida, a prefeitura local implementa diversos projetos 

para “movimentar” a população. Projetos como Esporte Cidadão, Juventude 

Esportiva, Lazer Esportivo, Fitness, Indaiatuba by Bike e Ecobike, entre 

outros, são algumas das ações. 

Indaiatuba by Bike e Ecobike 

Aos apreciadores do ciclismo, Indaiatuba possui 

dois projetos que incentivam a prática do esporte. O 

“Indaiatuba by Bike” consiste num passeio ciclístico 

promovido pelo Departamento de Turismo com o 

objetivo de resgatar o hábito dos passeios de bicicleta 

aos domingos. Os roteiros valorizam a história, cultura, 

educação e propriedades rurais de Indaiatuba 

com o objetivo de aumentar a consciência ambiental 

dos cidadãos. 

Para os ciclistas, o município oferece, ainda, o 

Projeto Ecobike com quatro estações localizadas em 

pontos estratégicos da cidade, onde 200 bicicletas 

ecológicas que utilizam quadro fabricado com garrafas 

PET, são disponibilizadas gratuitamente para uso 

da população mediante cadastro junto à prefeitura. 

Juventude Esportiva 

O projeto Juventude Esportiva oferece oportunidade 

para os jovens de 15 a 21 anos praticar esportes 

gratuitamente. São oferecidos 12 núcleos esportivos, 

com 700 vagas em 17 modalidades esportivas, como 

futsal, futebol de campo, jiu jitsu, judô, karatê e natação, 

entre outros. Os alunos podem fazer a inscrição 

pela internet trazendo mais comodidade e conforto. 

O Juventude Esportiva nasceu de uma sugestão feita 

ao prefeito Nilson Gaspar durante as reuniões do 

Papo Jovem. Nesses encontros, o prefeito vai até as 

escolas para conversar, ouvir e responder as dúvidas 

de jovens estudantes do ensino médio. 

Esporte Cidadão 

O Projeto Esporte Cidadão 

é desenvolvido pela Secretaria 

Municipal de Esportes em parceria 

com a Organização Nacional 

das Entidades do Desporto 

(Oned) e incentivado por empresas 

do município, e recebe 

recursos via Lei de Incentivo 

do Ministério do Esporte desde 

2014. O projeto abrange todo 

o município com acessibilidade 

em 18 núcleos esportivos. São 9 

mil vagas oferecidas em 19 modalidades 

para crianças e adolescentes 

de 6 a 15 anos, que tem 

a oportunidade de praticar diversas 

atividades esportivas com 

objetivos educacionais, sociais e 

culturais.

Indaiatuba by Bike 

and Ecobike 

For cyclists, Indaiatuba has two 

projects that encourage the practice of 

sports. The “Indaiatuba by Bike” is a 

cycling tour promoted by the Department 

of Tourism with the aim of rescuing the 

habit of cycling on Sundays. The routes 

value the history, culture, education and 

rural properties of Indaiatuba in order 

to increase environmental awareness 

among citizens. 

For cyclists, the municipality also 

offers the Ecobike Project with four 

stations located in strategic points of the 

city, where 200 ecological bicycles that 

use frame made with PET bottles, are 

available free for use of the population 

by registering with the city hall. 

Sports Youth 

The Sports Youth project offers an opportunity for 

people between 15 and 21 years to play sports for free. 

There are 12 sports centers, with 700 places in 17 sports 

modalities, such as futsal, soccer, jiu jitsu, judo, karate 

and swimming, among others. Students can enroll 

online to bring more convenience and comfort. Sports 

Youth was born from a suggestion made to Mayor Nilson 

Gaspar during the meetings of the Youth Chat. At these 

meetings, the mayor goes to the schools to talk, listen and 

answer the questions of young high school students. 

Citizen Sport 

Indaiatuba is a city that offers many opportunities for its population to play 

sports. With an enviable climate marked by high temperatures and abundance 

of water, the municipality offers excellent conditions for outdoor sports. 

Aiming to democratize the access of the population to sports practice and 

improvement of the quality of life, the local City Hall implements several 

projects to “move” the population. Projects such as Citizen Sport, Sports Youth, 

Sports Leisure, Fitness, Indaiatuba by Bike and Ecobike, among others, are 

some of the actions. 

The Citizen Sports Project is developed by the 

Municipal Sports Department in partnership with the 

National Organization of Sports Entities (ONED) 

and encouraged by companies in the municipality 

and receives resources through the Incentive Law of 

the Ministry of Sports since 2014. The project covers 

all municipality with accessibility in 18 sports centers. 

There are 9 thousand places offered in 19 modalities for 

children and adolescents from 6 to 15 years old, who 

have the opportunity to practice various sports activities 

for educational, social and cultural purposes.

Deputado Rogério, na sua visão quais diferenciais 

Indaiatuba oferece a potenciais investidores? 

Indaiatuba oferece grandes diferenciais para atrair 

novos investidores. Primeiramente, destaca-se o Plano 

Diretor municipal que definiu as áreas destinadas 

à instalação industrial e empresarial de forma 

totalmente ordenada e próximas a rodovias que dão 

acesso ao Aeroporto Internacional de Viracopos e à 

Capital do Estado, possibilitando otimização de logística 

e competitividade. No mesmo plano, Indaiatuba 

conta com infraestrutura de excelência, em vista 

de sua capacidade de abastecimento hídrico e de 

coleta e tratamento de esgoto, corroborando com o 

meio ambiente e desenvolvimento sustentável. Esse 

organizado desenvolvimento urbano, que também 

se preocupou com a delimitação estratégia de áreas 

residenciais, também garante excelente qualidade de 

vida aos munícipes que, por vez, contam com diversas 

áreas de lazer como, por exemplo, parques, museus, 

teatro, pólos comerciais, entre outros espaços 

disponíveis ao público.

Indaiatuba oferece grandes diferenciais 

para atrair novos investidores. 

Ao longo de meus cinco mandatos como 

Deputado Estadual, sempre me empenhei 

para garantir boas ações e políticas públicas 

de qualidade para Indaiatuba e região. 

Dentre minhas ações voltadas à Cidade 

de Indaiatuba, destaco: Instalação do Poupatempo; 

Licenciamento Ambiental para 

instalação da Barragem do Rio Capivari- 

-Mirim; recursos para construção de casas 

populares no Bairro Campo Bonito, entre 

outros; recursos para instalação da UPA no 

Jardim Morada do Sol, entre outras UBS’s; 

recursos para a construção da nova Delegacia; 

recursos para construção do novo Terminal 

Rodoviário; recursos para instalação do 

Museu da Água; indicação para implantação

always worked hard to ensure good quality public 

policies and actions for Indaiatuba and the region.

highlight: Installation of Poupatempo; Environmental 

Licensing for installation of the Capivari-Mirim River 

Dam; resources for construction of popular homes in 

the Campo Bonito Neighborhood, among others;

Congressman Rogério, in your 

opinion which differentials Indaiatuba offers to 

potential investors? 

Indaiatuba offers great differentials to attract new 

investors. First of all, the Municipal Master Plan 

that defines the areas destined to the industrial and 

business installation in a totally ordered way and next 

to the highways that give access to the International 

Airport of Viracopos and to the State Capital, allowing 

optimization of logistics and competitiveness. In the same 

plan, Indaiatuba counts on infrastructure of excellence, 

due to its capacity of water supply and sewage collection 

and treatment, corroborating with the environment 

and sustainable development. This organized urban 

development, which has also been concerned with 

the strategic delimitation of residential areas, also 

guarantees excellent quality of life for citizens who, 

at the same time, have several leisure areas such as 

parks, museums, theater, commercial centers, among 

other spaces available to the public. 

The City also offers a considerable number of 

schools (private and public), hospitals and health 

equipment, a modern public safety system and service, 

as well as guaranteeing a qualified workforce by 

having University (UNIMAX), Colleges (FATEC, 

Anhanguera), and with the FIEC - Indaiatuba 

Foundation for Education and Culture - a municipal 

authority that offers technical education through free

Temos investido na qualificação 

dos jovens para que eles ocupem 

os melhores postos de trabalho. 

” 

Temos notado que o seu governo 

tem apoiado e organizado muitos eventos com os 

empresários da cidade. O Sr. pode comentar como 

tem sido essa relação da prefeitura com o empresariado 

local? 

R: É um segundo lugar com gosto de primeiro, 

porque a cidade que está na nossa frente nessa 

pesquisa é Campinas, que tem 1,5 milhões de 

habitantes. Indaiatuba tem apenas 250 mil habitantes 

e não dá para comparar com uma cidade 

que é uma metrópole. Quanto aos fatores que 

nos colocaram na segunda posição desse ranking, 

eu acredito que o principal é a excelente infraesprefeito 

Nilson Gaspar, o seu mandato 

teve início em 2017 e vai até 2020. Qual o 

balanço que o Sr. pode fazer até agora, estando na 

segunda metade do mandato? 

R: Na verdade esse desenvolvimento vem acontecendo 

em Indaiatuba há mais de 20 anos e estou 

conseguindo dar continuidade e implantar projetos 

novos, buscando fazer cada vez mais pela cidade. Eu e 

minha equipe temos buscado melhorias no desenvolvimento 

urbano com atenção para a questão da mobilidade 

urbana. Na educação investimos em formação 

continuada dos professores da Rede Municipal e 

abrimos mais cursos técnicos com a Fiec (Fundação 

Indaiatubana de Educação e Cultura), o que garante 

mais jovens qualificados para o mercado de trabalho. 

Também evoluímos na questão da água com a 

construção da Barragem do rio Capivari-Mirim, que 

possibilitou a Indaiatuba uma segurança hídrica para 

os próximos 30 anos. Investimos em tecnologia de 

segurança pública, para o aperfeiçoamento do sistema 

de inteligência e monitoramento da cidade. Conseguimos 

atrair mais empresas e movimentar mais o 

comércio com o intuito de gerar renda e melhorar 

a economia da cidade. Meu compromisso é com a 

qualidade de vida de nossos munícipes, por isso tenho 

trabalhado em projetos importantes nessas áreas 

prioritárias, mas também trabalho para promover 

cultura, esporte e lazer para nossa população. 

R: A administração municipal promove esses encontros 

para facilitar a interação entre os empresários 

e também promover um diálogo entre eles e o 

poder público. Fazemos a “Rodada de Negócios”, 

por exemplo, porque temos quase 1.000 empresas 

aqui em Indaiatuba e muitos empresários ainda 

não se conhecem, não sabem o que o outro produz. 

Com isso acabam comprando de outras cidades e 

até de outros estados, um produto que seu vizinho 

oferece, algumas vezes até mais barato por conta 

dos custos reduzidos de transporte. As “Rodadas de 

Negócios” promovem justamente essa interação do 

empresariado local. Além de fomentar os negócios 

no município, essa é uma oportunidade da prefeitura 

se aproximar, ouvir as necessidades do setor e 

apresentar os serviços que a administração pública 

oferece. Dessa forma, o poder público pode oferecer 

o suporte que o empresário precisa para melhorar sua 

produção e, consequentemente, gerar mais emprego 

e renda para a nossa população. É com esse intuito 

que temos investido muito na qualificação profissional 

de nossos jovens, para que eles possam ocupar 

os postos de trabalho que essas empresas oferecem. 

Com a Fiec (Fundação Indaiatubana de Educação 

e Cultura), que é referência em ensino técnico no 

País, ainda temos o diferencial de conseguir montar 

cursos específicos de qualificação profissional para 

capacitar colaboradores de acordo com a necessidade 

do empresário. 

Na RMC (Região Metropolitana 

de Campinas), Indaiatuba é a 2ª melhor cidade 

para se fazer investimentos, conforme estudo da 

Consultoria UrbanSystems. Na opinião do Sr., 

quais são os fatores que levaram a esse resultado?

trutura que a cidade oferece. O empresário busca 

uma cidade que tenha uma oferta de água boa, um 

sistema viário eficiente, mão de obra qualificada, 

segurança e qualidade de vida para seus colaboradores. 

Isso tudo Indaiatuba oferece. 

Uma grande empresa de computadores saiu de 

Itu e veio para cá porque Indaiatuba oferecia água 

e segurança, principalmente. Mas também oferecemos 

educação de qualidade. O Ideb (Índice de Desenvolvimento 

de Educação Básica) do município 

é o melhor do estado e o segundo melhor do país 

em cidades com mais de 200 mil habitantes. Nosso 

sistema de saúde funciona, tanto que estamos 

atraindo pacientes de toda a região e até de outros 

estados. Hoje, 30% dos atendimentos de nosso serviço 

de saúde se refere a pacientes de fora da cidade. 

Temos um trabalho muito forte na área social, 

principalmente no atendimento a melhor idade. A 

Administração Municipal também tem desenvolvido 

ações para ajudar a fortalecer o comércio local 

para que as pessoas não precisem sair de Indaiatuba 

para comprar. A cidade oferece uma excelente rede 

de restaurantes, mercados, vestuário, bares e entretenimento. 

O empresário quando pensa em investir 

é atraído por todas essas características do município, 

somadas à localização, à proximidade do aeroporto 

e de grandes rodovias. Para completar, ainda 

estamos batalhando para viabilizar a vinda do porto 

seco para Indaiatuba. 

Aos empresários interessados em trazer seus negócios para Indaiatuba, 

qual mensagem o Sr. poderia deixar pra eles? 

R: Indaiatuba tem tudo o que os empresários precisam em termos de infraestrutura, e 

a Administração Municipal ainda oferece incentivos fiscais pelo prazo de até 10 anos para 

que possam instalar suas empresas e se estabelecer na cidade. A localização geográfica da 

cidade é um ponto forte e ainda oferecemos mão de obra qualificada, o que é outro diferencial. 

Indaiatuba está pronta para atender o empresário da melhor forma possível.

to the issue of urban mobility. In education we have 

invested in the continuing education of the teachers 

of the Municipal Network and we have opened more 

technical courses with Fiec (Indaiatuba Foundation of 

Education and Culture), which guarantees more young 

people qualified for the job market. We also evolved in 

the water issue with the construction of the Capivari- 

Mirim River Dam, which enabled Indaiatuba to provide 

water security for the next 30 years. We invest in public 

safety technology, to improve the city’s intelligence and

monitoring system. We have been able to attract more 

companies and move more trade to generate income 

and improve the city’s economy. My commitment is to 

the quality of life of our citizens, so I have worked on 

important projects in these priority areas, but also work 

to promote culture, sport and leisure for our population. 

We have noticed that your 

government has supported and organized many 

events with the businessmen of the city. Can you 

comment on the relationship between the city and 

the local business community? 

A: The City administration promotes these meetings 

to facilitate the interaction between the entrepreneurs 

and also to promote a dialogue between them and the 

public power. We do the “Business Round”, for example, 

because we have almost 1,000 companies here in 

Indaiatuba and many entrepreneurs still do not know 

each other, they do not know what the other produces. 

With this they end up buying from other cities and 

even from other states, a product that their neighbor 

offers, sometimes even cheaper because of the reduced 

transportation costs. The “Business Rounds” promote 

precisely this interaction of local entrepreneurs. In 

addition to promoting business in the municipality, 

this is an opportunity for the city to approach, listen 

to the needs of the sector and present the services that 

the public administration offers. In this way, public 

power can offer the support that the entrepreneur needs

to improve his production and, consequently, generate 

more employment and income for our population. It 

is with this intention that we have invested a lot in 

the professional qualification of our young people, so 

that they can occupy the jobs that these companies offer. 

With Fiec (Indaiatuba Foundation for Education and 

Culture), which is a reference in technical education in 

the country, we still have the differential of being able to 

set up specific courses of professional qualification to train 

employees according to the needs of the entrepreneur. 

Indaiatuba has everything 

that entrepreneurs need. 

In the RMC (Metropolitan Region 

of Campinas), Indaiatuba is the 2nd best city 

to make investments, according to a study by 

UrbanSystems Consulting. In your opinion, what 

are the factors that led to this result? 

A: It is a second place with a taste of first, because 

the city that is ahead of us in this research is Campinas, 

which has 1.5 million inhabitants. Indaiatuba has only 

250 thousand inhabitants and cannot compare with a 

city that is a metropolis. As for the factors that put us in 

second place in this ranking, I believe the main thing 

is the excellent infrastructure that the city offers. The 

entrepreneur seeks a city that has a good water supply, 

an efficient road system, skilled labor, safety and quality 

of life for its employees. That’s all Indaiatuba offers. 

A large computer company left Itu and came here 

because Indaiatuba offered mostly water and security.

But we also offer quality education. Ideb (Index of 

Development of Basic Education) of the municipality is 

the best of the state and the second best of the country in 

cities with more than 200 thousand inhabitants. Our 

health system works, so much so that we are attracting 

patients from all over the region and even from other 

states. Today, 30% of our healthcare services refer to 

out-of-town patients. We have a very strong work in the 

social area, especially in the service of the best age. The 

City Administration has also developed actions to help 

strengthen local commerce so that people do not need 

to leave Indaiatuba to buy. The city offers an excellent 

network of restaurants, markets, clothing, bars and 

entertainment. The businessman when he thinks of 

investing is attracted by all these characteristics of the 

municipality, added to the location, the proximity of 

the airport and of great highways. To complete, we are 

still struggling to make the coming of the dry port to 

Indaiatuba possible. 

To the businessmen interested 

in bringing their business to Indaiatuba, what 

message could you leave them? 

A: Indaiatuba has everything that entrepreneurs need 

in terms of infrastructure, and the City Administration 

still offers tax incentives for a period of up to 10 years 

so that they can set up their companies and settle 

in the city. The geographical location of the city is a 

strong point and we still offer skilled labor, which is 

another differential. Indaiatuba is ready to meet the 

entrepreneur in the best way possible.
