ITINERARY<br />
Wed, June 24: Fly to Fairbanks, <strong>Alaska</strong> and overnight downtown.<br />
Thu, June 25: A full day of sightseeing includes a cruise aboard the sternwheeler<br />
riverboat Discovery III. Watch a bush floatplane take off, stop at the home and kennels<br />
of the late four-time Iditarod winner Susan Butcher, and visit a recreated Chena Indian<br />
Village. Depart for Denali National Park and overnight in the new Junior Suites at<br />
McKinley Chalets on the Nenana River for two nights. Use your <strong>Ambassadair</strong> “Your<br />
Choice” excursion or enjoy an evening on your own. (Meal: Lunch)<br />
Fri, June 26: Travel on a Tundra Wilderness Tour — 53 miles into Denali National Park,<br />
home to North America’s highest peak, Denali (formerly Mount McKinley) as well as<br />
wildlife including grizzlies, Dall sheep, moose and caribou. Afternoon free time for<br />
optional activities.* (Snack Box)<br />
Sat, June 27: Board the award-winning McKinley Explorer dome train and traverse the<br />
Great Land. Check in to the Hotel Captain Cook in downtown Anchorage. (L)<br />
Sun, June 28: Enjoy breakfast with your fellow travelers. Travel the Seward Highway<br />
along the scenic Turnagain Arm to board Holland America Line’s ms Noordam. (B,D)<br />
Mon, June 29: At sea. Relax and explore the ship. (B,L,D)<br />
Tue, June 30: Cruise Glacier Bay National Park. Spend the day on deck as you watch<br />
for seals, sea lions and whales! Sail close to actively calving glaciers as National Park<br />
