Neighborhood Place is a partnership of Louisville Metro agencies
and community residents who have come together to deliver services
in a new way. The approach requires a unified action plan among
diverse governments, agencies, and neighborhood residents. Because
agencies are not competing with one another, they are in a position
to maximize every resource available to them. The most significant
benefit is to the families that Neighborhood Place serves. The
Northwest Neighborhood Place is located right next to the JCPS
Satellite Office @ Shawnee. Since the JCPS Satellite Office opened
in Shawnee, the Neighborhood Place has been working hand-inhand
with the Satellite Office to support JCPS students and families.
The Back-to-School Bash is set to take place on August 1 at the
JCPS Satellite Office @ Shawnee, 4018 W. Market Street, West
Wing. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. and is free and
