Board your “Grand Slam” coach for an exciting four 

days of major league baseball. Make your way to the

DAY 2 | CHICAGO CUBS VS. SAN DIEGO

OMG (Oh My Gosh) are you are ready for “Chicago’s 

Most Thrilling Experience?” We are going to take you 

on an adventure at 360 CHICAGO-The John Hancock 

Tower. You will “tilt” outward over 1,000 feet and see 

out and over the Magnificent Mile and Chicago’s 

famous skyline. Are you up for this adventure? Next, 

spend a little time browsing Water Tower Place and 

the Magnificent Mile. Then gear up to go to Wrigley 

Field to have lunch on your own and be seated in time 

for the first pitch. Start watching the bullpen before the 

game – Cubs pitchers warm up on the field of play. 

Sit back and enjoy the afternoon as the Cubs take on 

the Padres. After the game, we’re off to Navy Pier. This 

is truly an iconic landmark of Chicago with plenty of 

activities to enjoy. Ride the ferris wheel or carousel; 

for the shopper, there is plenty to browse and buy. Do 

take some time out to have dinner – from deep-dish 

pizza to a Chicago-style hot dog or a juicy burger, 

you’ll find it here. 

DAY 3 | DETROIT TIGERS VS. THE TORONTO 

BLUE JAYS (B) 

Today drive to Detroit and arrive mid-afternoon, 

just in time to check into the hotel and freshen up. 

Then head to Comerica Park to see the Tigers take 

on the Blue Jays. This is a great ballpark; no seat at 

Comerica Park is obstructed. Nearly every seat in the 

main grandstand has an excellent view of downtown 

Detroit. Have dinner at the park before taking your 

seat. Did you know that Mike Ilitch, founder of Little 

Caesars Pizza, owns the Detroit Tigers? Needless to 

say, you can have Little Caesars here if you want!

DAY 4 | CLEVELAND INDIANS VS. KANSAS CITY 

ROYALS (B, D) 

Today make the trek to Cleveland to see the Indians 

take on the Royals. Did you know the press box 

at Progressive Field is the largest in Major League 

Baseball? For lunch you may want to consider the 

concessionaires that represent a handful of local 

restaurants and breweries. Or, if you like grilled 

cheese, consider a sandwich from Melt. Tonight have 

dinner with your fellow travelers so you can reminisce 

about where you’ve been and where you have yet to

DAY 5 | CHICAGO WHITE SOX VS. MIAMI

Today return to Chicago and have a short amount 

of time to freshen up and head to Guaranteed Rate 

Stadium for dinner on your own before the game.

Buffaloes. The last time these two teams met on the 

gridiron was 2010! Boy, how times have changed. You 

won’t want to miss this trip with Frost and Company as

DAY 1 | TRAVEL DAY/16TH STREET MALL 

Board your “Husker” coach for a trip west to Colorado. 

This evening spend some time on your own at the 16th 

Street Mall. Built in 1982, the Mall is a pedestrian 

promenade of red-and-gray granite that runs through 

the center in a repeating pattern that resembles a 

diamondback rattle snake when viewed from above. 

There are many outdoor cafés along the mall, making 

it the perfect place to grab a bite to eat or have a 

drink. Free shuttle buses, dubbed the MallRide, travel 

up and down the 16th Street Mall, stopping on every 

corner. Hop on and hop off as the shuttles come and 

go every few minutes and make everything downtown 

easy to reach. After your time spent exploring and 

dining, check into your hotel in Westminster that you

DAY 2 | ESTES PARK/BRONCO STADIUM TOUR (B) 

Today, travel to Estes Park - The Base Camp for Rocky 

Mountain National Park. There is no limit to the things 

you can do here today. For those who want to hike, 

we will take you up to Bear Lake to do some hiking. 

The shopping opportunities are outstanding – with 

more than 300 shops displaying everything your heart 

desires. To relax, you could spend time wandering 

down the Riverwalk. The Big Thompson River and 

Fall River wind through the heart of downtown. The 

Riverwalk is the perfect way to experience the serenity 

of the river in beautiful Estes Park. After lunch in the 

area, make your way to the Broncos Stadium where 

you will have a private “behind the scenes” glimpse 

into areas rarely seen by the public, and some of 

the unique operations and inner workings of one of 

the most state-of-the-art stadiums in North America. 

Then, return to your hotel after a fun day of touring. This

This morning make your way to the Indianapolis Motor 

Speedway for a look inside the fast-paced world of 

car racing. During your tour take a “lap” around the 

speedway and visit the museum to see racing artifacts 

housed there. It’s a behind-the-scenes look like no 

other. 

Then we’re off to the Fountain Square neighborhood 

of Indianapolis for some “Duckpin Bowling.” Just to be 

clear, no ducks are harmed in this game! The duckpin 

ball weighs three pounds and is slightly larger than a 

softball. The ball has no finger holes and the pins are 9 

inches tall. In this game you are allowed three throws 

instead of two. In any event, you’re sure to have fun. 

Since you’ve worked up an appetite, we’ve included a 

hamburger buffet after bowling. Next, visit the NCAA 

Hall of Champions whose membership includes 

more than 1,000 colleges and universities and over 

400,000 student-athletes. Upon arrival, be greeted 

by an NCAA staff member who was a former studentathlete. 

The NCAA Hall of Champions has two-levels 

of interactive exhibits to engage visitors and create a 

true-to-life understanding of what it takes to make the 

grade. There are 24 NCAA sports represented here.

International Spy Museum where you will be amazed 

by the many exhibits at the first museum dedicated 

to international espionage. This afternoon tour the 

newest Smithsonian Museum - The National Museum 

of African American History and Culture. This museum 

seeks to understand American history through the lens 

of the African American Experience. 

Later this afternoon take a city tour of Washington, D.C. 

with the following stops: Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial; 

DAY 3 | ON YOUR OWN – ALL DAY HOP-ON

This day is yours to do whatever you want. An all-day 

Hop-On Hop-Off ticket is included and is a great way

GAME TICKETS & POLICY: 

FOOTBALL TICKETS - Tickets are ordered from the University of 

Nebraska and are requested in the Nebraska section. In the event 

Nebraska does not fulfill our request, tickets are obtained from the 

home team or ticket agencies and could be located in any part of the 

stadium, including upper end zones. Tickets will be in pairs or possibly 

small groups of four, but the entire group will not be sitting in one block 

of seats. If you secured your own tickets a deduction will be made to 

your trip cost. (Notification must be made to Allied Tour and Travel by 

July 3, 2019). Game ticket rates are subject to change until purchased. 

If rates were to increase to over what is included in the cost of the tour 

a small surcharge may be assessed. 

BASEBALL TICKETS & POLICY - Game ticket prices are subject to 

change until purchased by Allied. If rates were to increase over what 

has been budgeted in the cost of the tour, a small surcharge would be 

assessed. In the event of extra-inning games or game delays, we will 

stay as long as possible at the game. However, federal law requires 

motorcoach drivers to have 9 hours off after a day’s work. This may 

require the motorcoach to leave the game before its completion to 

fulfill this law. In this event, passengers can return to the hotel with the 

motorcoach or stay at the game and take a taxi at your own expense 

to the hotel. 

FINAL PAYMENT: 

You may remit by personal check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover or 

American Express. 

TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITY: 

Allied Tours, Inc, (AT) acts only as agents for suppliers. AT is not responsible 

for acts or omissions of the suppliers or their failure to provide services 

or adhere to their own schedules and assumes no liability for injury, 

damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, and can accept no liability 

for losses or personal injury or property damage, or additional expenses 

due to delay or changes in bus or other services, sickness, weather, 

strikes, war, quarantine, terrorism or other causes. Rates are subject to 

change therein at or before the time of departure. No revisions of tours 

are anticipated; however, the right is reserved to make any changes, 

with or without notice, that might become necessary with the mutual 

understanding that any additional expenses will be paid by the individual 

passenger. Baggage is at the owner’s risk throughout the tour. The right 

is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of 

these tours at any time. The usual contract in use by the airlines and other 

suppliers when issued shall constitute the sole contract of the purchaser of 

the tour and/or the passenger. AT has no special knowledge regarding 

the financial condition of the suppliers or unsafe conditions at locations 

of travel. Passengers hereby release AT from all claims arising out of any 

problem covered in these sentences and agree that the courts in Madison 

Co., NE will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or 

AT. Application for reservation on this tour indicates full acceptance of the 

foregoing conditions. 

TRAVELER CONDUCT & SPECIAL NEEDS: 

Tours are fun, but the enjoyment of the tour is based on everyone being 

friendly and cooperative. Allied reserves the right to accept or decline 

any passenger on any tour if Allied Tour determines a passenger 

would be detrimental to the tour. Once a tour departs, any passenger 

disruptive to the group may be asked to leave the tour. Expenses to 

return home would be the responsibility of the passenger. No refunds 

will be issued for unused portions of the tour. 

Please notify us of any special needs at the time of reservation. We will 

make all reasonable efforts to assist with your travel arrangements. 

However, it is strongly recommended that a traveling companion 

come along to help with any special needs of anyone with a disability. 

Allied’s tour directors have responsibilities for the entire group and 

can’t provide one-on-one care. This includes boarding of motor 

coaches, airplanes, cruise ships, etc. and traversing hotels, restaurants, 

attractions, or other personal needs, etc. Contact Allied if you have
