ROAD HAZARD WARRANTY
CONDITIONS
WARRANTY FORM
The Nankang Road Hazard Warranty is available to
purchase with any new Nankang passenger* tyre.
PURCHASE THIS
WARRANTY FOR PEACE
OF MIND MOTORING.
If during the first 12 months or 12,000 kilometers
(whichever comes first) your new Nankang tyre
suffers accidental damage due to adverse road
conditions and is beyond repair. (e.g. impacts due
to potholes, broken glass, high curbs etc) we will
replace the tyre free of charge.
*excludes 4WD/SUV and commercial patterns.
All Nankang tyres distributed by YHI (NZ) Ltd are
covered against manufacturing faults for the life of
the tyre. If a tyre has a manufacturing fault detected,
YHI (NZ) Ltd will inspect the tyre and if the fault is
accepted YHI (NZ) Ltd will replace the tyre free of
charge with the same or an equivalent product, as
long as the condition of the tyre meets the minimum
requirements for a current Warrant of Fitness.
This road hazard warranty excludes damage caused
by neglect including insufficient tyre and /or vehicle
maintenance, tyre care and deliberate abuse.
Conditions that are not covered by this warranty
include fire, theft, vandalism, snow chain damage,
motor vehicle accidents, racing, incorrect repair,
incorrect operating pressures, overloading and any
damage caused to the tyre by interference with the
vehicle due to incorrect wheel fitment and/or vehicle
modifications.
The tyre warranty is valid on a tyre that is of minimum
tread depth and meets current Warrant of Fitness
standards.
The warranty is valid to the original purchaser of the
product and is not transferable to another person
and/or vehicle.
This form must be completed and faxed or emailed
to YHI (NZ) Ltd by your Tyre Dealer for your Road
Hazard Warranty to be valid. YHI (NZ) Ltd has the
right to decline any claim in its sole discretion and
without citing a reason and the decision of YHI (NZ)
Ltd shall be final and binding on the claimant.
