polypoid mass ſt with a
lobulated margin arising from
the gallbladder wall. When
larger than 10 mm, surgery
should be considered. (Right)
Longitudinal ultrasound of the
gallbladder in a patient with
cirrhosis shows diffuse wallstriated
thickening and a
"comet tail" artifact ſt
consistent with
adenomyomatosis and
secondary wall thickening.
There was no tenderness.

to be xanthogranulomatous
cholecystitis. Gallstones were
