Diagnoses: Female Pelvis

ſt within a large RPOC, which
distends the endometrial
cavity . Degree of
vascularity is so pronounced
that it can be confused for
AVM. However, vascularity
involves endometrium as well
as myometrium, a helpful
finding in correctly diagnosing
RPOC. (Right) Longitudinal
color Doppler US shows
avascular RPOC with
thickened endometrial echo
complex . Avascular RPOC
may be difficult to distinguish
from blood clot but both are
likely to pass spontaneously.
