Endometrial Carcinoma
(Left) Longitudinal
transvaginal ultrasound shows
a heterogeneous hypoechoic
mass ſt distending the
uterine cavity. The anterior
myometrial border is
indistinct, suggesting invasion.
A small amount of echogenic
endometrium is visible .
(Right) Sagittal T2-weighted
MR in the same patient shows
hypointense tumor ſt,
hyperintense endometrium
, and disruption of the
anterior junctional zone
consistent with myometrial
invasion. Pathology revealed
endometrioid and papillary
features.
Diagnoses: Female Pelvis
(Left) Transverse transvaginal
color Doppler US shows a
highly vascular echogenic
mass distending the
endometrial cavity ſt, which
pathology revealed
endometrioid-type carcinoma.
Myometrial invasion was not
identified on the ultrasound.
There is minimal
hematometros . (Right)
Transverse CT in the same
patient shows the enhancing
endometrial mass ſt within
the expanded endometrial
cavity . No
lymphadenopathy was
identified.

with minimal internal flow .
Pap smear and biopsy were
consistent with clear cell
