should have similar, homogeneous, medium-level, granular echotexture. (Bottom) Transverse color Doppler ultrasound of the testes is<br />

shown. It is important to compare the flow between testes to determine if the symptomatic side has increased or decreased flow, when<br />

compared to the asymptomatic side. This approach also helps to globally evaluate edema, a hematoma, or an abnormality in the scrotal<br />

wall.<br />
