GROWING TIPS
» Good air circulation and water drainage are important. Keep soil moist
but not wet.
» High light levels are essential in production for optimal growth.
Magenta Sprite Phlox
This hybrid Phlox forms a low, mounding habit of magenta-pink,
star-shaped flowers.
Purple Sprite Phlox
Bright purple flowers with a tiny white halo at the center are best
in full sun but are more tolerant of shade than most Phlox.
Rose Sprite Phlox
This new groundcover Phlox won’t spread aggressively but will
form more of a clumping mound of star-shaped flowers.

» Soft pinch when plants are 2 – 3 inches tall. The lower the plant’s breaks,
the better the plant quality.
» Vernalization will increase plant vigor, decrease time to flower and
improve uniformity of flowering.
» Watch for aphids, spider mites, and whiteflies, scout and treat as needed.

Notes:
Growing plants under proper conditions can help prevent the need
for PGR's. If necessary apply 2000 ppm of B-Nine ® and 3 ppm of
Uniconazole to control growth. Check manufacturer’s labels for
approved rates and usage recommendations. The Sprite Phlox have
shown excellent resistance to diseases. Treat with preventative broad
spectrum fungicidal drench at one week after transplant.
