» Large containers are best, although quick cropping in mid to late
Spring in small containers can be done.
» Good air circulation, control of humidity, and good sanitation practices
are critical.
» Rarely affected by powdery mildew, but proactive scouting is
recommended under conditions favorable for disease development.
» Preventative fungicide drench is recommended at transplant.
» For height control, consider Bonzi ® drenches at 3-5 ppm. Check
manufacturer’s labels for approved rates and usage recommendations.
